Happy Birthday to Lindsay Morgan Lohan who turns 23 today!

Cobra Starship front man Gabe Saporta is hunched over the craps table, a wad of cash in his sweaty hand, while Leighton Meester of "Gossip Girl" hovers above him on perilously high heels. Around them, the smoky nightclub pulsated in full party mode, as pretty people jammed to the music and guzzled bottles of beer. Leighton Meester is fierce the moment she steps into Cobra Starship’s new “Good Girls Go Bad” music video.

The concept of the video is that Meester runs an underground speakeasy, complete with shelves of booze, gambling tables and a dance floor. The band is in charge of the above-ground deli that acts as a front operation to hide the debauchery within. To gain access to the illegal club, patrons must order the correct sandwich and proceed down a staircase. "And if you don't look good, I'm not gonna let you in!" Saporta told MTV News during some downtime on the set, tucked into the Lower East Side.

The infectiously dancey "Good Girls" was produced by "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi, and Saporta was initially put off by the fact that the busy producer only had two hours to spend with the band in the studio. Saporta says he gave her a "stinky beat" and popped off a list of foul-mouthed song titles. "She didn't even flinch!" said an impressed Saporta. "She's a New York girl." Together, they dropped the song's hook in no time, and 15 minutes later the entire track was done. "It's, like, the best song on our album," he said of the upcoming August release, Hot Mess.

By the time Cobra and DioGuardi recorded the song, the band had already decided to collaborate with Meester. "I had heard that Leighton was working on a record and I really, really, really wanted to do a song with her, because I'm a big superfan of hers," Saporta said. He recalled thinking, "['Good Girls'] would be perfect for Leighton because it's already kind of her character in 'Gossip Girl,' like the perfect girl with the bad streak." They'd been working together on another track, but Saporta quickly sent her the new song, and Meester took an immediate liking to it. "I thought, 'I need to get on that!' " she told MTV News. "It totally is my sound too. Really fun to dance to it. Very edgy and cool."

The video was directed by Kai Regan and shot on Sunday, May 3 in New York City. Cobra Starship consists of Gabe Saporta, Ryland Blackinton, Alex Suarez, Victoria Asher and Nate Novarro. Check out the video below:

Cristiano Ronaldo some time soaking up the sun and recovering from his late night escapades in “sin city”, where he was spotted after dark at club like XS and the Playboy Club.

The former Manchester United, Ronaldo, star has to make sure his body is in 100 per cent working order - so he called in a male masseur to give him a poolside “manssage”, at The Palms Hotel & Casino.

The attendant, rumored to be Portuguese physiotherapist Antonio Gaspar, paid close attention to the 24-year old’s washboard stomach, before moving onto the body part, which has made him the man of the moment - his feet.

Following his massage the metrosexual player, Ronaldo, cooled off in the hotel pool. But he couldn't get away from the fans for too long - he was soon recognized and persuaded to join a clutch of fans for photographs. Word around town is that Cristiano has been from scoring BIG in Vegas having “slots of fun”!!!

Following her morning press duties, that included a stop at “Live with Regis and Kelly,” Selena Marie Gomez took advantage of her free time with a shopping spree in New York City on Tuesday (June 16).

The 16-year-old starlet, best known for playing Alex Russo on the Disney Channel Original Series, Wizards of Waverly Place, was joined by her cousin Priscilla DeLeon, for a little bit of retail therapy. The Disney sweetheart shopped the A|X summer collection at the Armani Exchange in Soho, before rushing off to a taping of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”

Meanwhile, Miss Gomez and gal pal Demi Lovato, are promoting “Princess Protection Program,” and recently spoke with People Magazine about their friendship.

Demi stated, “I’m very protective of our friendship. I think I’d be like, ‘You can have him, because I don’t want to ruin our friendship.’ Then she’d be like, ‘No, you can have him,’ and then we’d end up not liking him.”

Selena added, “I’ve cut out the people who I don’t need in my life. I realized I should surround myself with people who make me smile.”

Lauren Conrad has left the un-reality show, “The Hills”, to sell candy. Today is the official release of Conrad’s debut novel, “L.A. Candy”, the first in a series of three young adult novels the MTV reality “star” is writing for HarperCollins.

The trilogy will follow the adventures of nineteen-year-old Jane Roberts as she moves to Los Angeles and unexpectedly becomes the subject of a popular un-scripted "reality version of Sex and the City.” I think we know how this ends….

Today is the official start date on the filming of “Remember Me”, staring 22-year-old British actor Robert Pattinson.

Pattinson plays the lead role in "Remember Me," a story of a young couple whose escalating relationship is complicated by a succession of family tragedies that test their bond. Emilie de Ravin (Lost and Roswell alumni) will play Rob's love interest.

The film is rumored to be based off of Love Story, the 1970s the film and book of the same name written by Erich Segal, who also wrote the screenplay.

Emmy-winning director Allen Coulter ("The Sopranos," "Damages") will direct "Remember Me", and Jenny Lumet, who penned the script for last year's critical darling "Rachel Getting Married," has written the screenplay. The film also stars: Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper and Lena Olin.

Remember Me is scheduled to be released just before Valentine’s Day, 2010.

Ciao Bella - Twilight's Kristen Jaymes Stewart was spotted strolling in Santa Monica, California, where she recently shot an exclusive photoshoot for Allure Magazine. Following the filming of “New Moon,” KJS is gearing up for roles in “K-11” and “The Runaways”.

The movie, K-11, takes place in the section of the Los Angeles County Jail that holds gay inmates, keeping them segregated from the general prison population. “K-11” is the official classification for a gay inmate. Stewart, will play a boy and Nikki Reed, Twilight’s Rosalie, will play a 30-year-old man. Stewart’s mom, veteran script supervisor Jules Stewart, will direct. In the press, Kristen described the flick K-11 as a “comedy-drama" saying “… [The unit is] full of eccentric, crazy, off-the wall characters, and me and Nikki play two of them … It’s a really sweet but really screwed up family in there.”

“The Runaways,” centers its story on Joan Jett and her fellow band member Cherie Currie and follows the girl band from their meteoric rise as teenagers to their dissolution and disillusionment. The screenplay written by video director Floria Sigismondi, will also direct the feature project. Kristen Stewart will play Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning in the role of Cherie Currie. Recent reports that Revolutionary Road’s Michael Shannon is in negotiations to play one of the few male roles in the biopic.

Both films due out Fall 2009.

In a statement to the press Becks stated: "I'm very pleased that the academy has inspired this series of books, and am hopeful that it will bring more children to reading. "The academy is dedicated to the development of all those that attend and these books are a fantastic addition to its scope."

Cristiano Ronaldo was just spotted drowning the sorrows from Manchester United's 2-0 Champions League final loss to Barcelona in the waters of Sardinia on vacation. While enjoying his time in the sun, the hunk was spotted getting a manly abdominal massage by a local. Frankie Delgado snagged himself a JOB - the incredible job of being one of MTV News’ correspondents for the MTV Movie Awards, and with the show just days away, he headed over to the Armani Exchange store at the Sunset Plaza, in Los Angeles, along with celebrity stylist Wouri Vice to check out possible red-carpet looks.

Frankie tried on several looks at A|X and had a hard time deciding how to nail the casual-but-not-too-casual look that works best for a show like the MTV Movie Awards.

The first look was a vest and matching pants which Frankie called “the MC Hammer look.” He also tried on a cardigan with a tie and dress shirt, which seemed closer to what he wanted to wear at the show. He then tried on a white jacket with dark pants as well as a gray suit, which seemed to best embody the feel he was going for.

Jennifer Aniston is on set with Jason Bateman filming night scenes for “The Baster” on Wednesday night (April 8) in New York City.

Directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon, the story follows Wally (Bateman) whose female best friend Kassie (Aniston) plans to become pregnant with artificial assistance, but Wally mixes things up replaces the preferred baster content with his own. Seven years later, Kassie returns to New York with her son, and Wally is forced to live with the secret that he is the child's real father.

Recently, Jeff Goldblum was added to the cast of "The Baster," and will get to exercise his comedy chops by playing Bateman's business partner and confidant, whose idea of working out is walking s-l-o-w on the treadmill. Patrick Wilson also co-stars in the film.

Miramax will distribute the film, which is written by Allan Loeb, and based on a short story by Jeffrey Eugenides. Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa, whose films include the offbeat comedies "Election" and "Little Miss Sunshine," will produce. “The Baster” is set to be release in Spring 2010.

Styletraxx is sending out a BIG b-day wish to Twilight star Kristen Jaymes Stewart, who turns 19 today.

As previously reported on styletraxx, Kristen is set to play rocker Joan Jett in “The Runaways”, a biopic of the all-girl band set in the 70s, said she will do her very best in personifying the "I Love Rock N' Roll" singer's spirit on the silver screen.

Stewart recently told the press how excited she is to be playing the iconic rockstar Jett in “The Runaways,” a 1970’s-era flick about the influential all-girl rock band fronted by Jett and Lita Ford.

“I’m, like, vibrating,” grinned Stewart when we asked “I’m just so excited about that movie. I’m really, exceedingly, more excited than normal,” she laughed. "It should just be done justice," Stewart stated "I mean, her story's important. It's an incredibly triumphant feminist story, really."

Directed by Floria Sigismondi, the film will tell the story of the teenage band who were brought together and thrown into leather and lace, performing such sneer-filled songs as “Cherry Bomb.” Joan Jett herself has signed on to be the film’s executive producer, and Stewart is reportedly hard at work picking up old guitar riffs, and spending time hanging with the durable rock goddess herself.

On her breakup from boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti: “It’s hard to be with someone for five years and say, This isn’t going to work. But it was a time in my life where I finally just said, I can’t live for anyone else anymore. I have to be on my own.”

On the Hollywood career she would like to try: “I’m in my thirties now, and I really want to try all the things that I haven’t gotten to do yet, like directing, and doing a drama. I’ve produced and gotten to do a lot of optimistic love stories, and that was so where I was at for 10 years in my life. And now I feel like, Okay, now I know how to do that. I wanted to get scared again.”

Drew recently threw herself into the role of Little Edie for the film Grey Gardens, going to extreme lengths like shutting herself off from the world- all to prove to the director, who preferred other actresses for the role, that she was the right pick.

On getting the role and transforming into the character
“I knew this was not a courtesy meeting, but not far from it. I didn’t want to come in there like a hungry freak. But I also felt every second counting. So – polite conversation, then he started looking through my binder, and I saw his demeanor change, actually noticing all the hard work I had put into it. So I just put it out there. I said, ‘Look – I have all of this inside of me, and I promise you that I will change my face to be her. I will learn how to stop talking out of the side of my mouth. I will go to school to relearn body language. I will shut out the world. I will not talk to my friends. I will give up my life for this, because I don’t think you can play this character and have a social life and balance the two mentalities. I won’t act. I’ll become this person.’”

“I did what I do when I have a big challenge lying in my path. I go to school. I shut the windows, the shades come down, the phone gets turned off, I don’t go out – I study.”

The long, tumultuous and supremely entertaining relationship between part-time actress Lindsay Lohan and her DJ companion, Samantha Ronson, has finally come to an end.

The break-up was made official after Lindsay Morgan was barred from a party for Ronson's sister, Charlotte‹DJ Sam on deck‹at Bar Marmont on Friday night. As celebs such as Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Molly Sims, Sting and Jewel grooved to Ronson's tune-spinning skills, five bouncers allegedly kept Lohan at bay, under strict orders from the Ronson family. The Ronson family is so concerned that they are seeking a restraining order against Lindsay.

“They were directed to the court to get a restraining order,” Beverly Hills Sgt. Nutall told US Weekly on Monday.

The locks on Samantha’s house were seen being changed on Monday; three weeks ago a window was broken at her house during a fight between the two women. According to reports, Lindsay Morgan Lohan has vacated Sam Ronson's home and
moved back into the Chateau Marmont.

“We are taking a brief break so I can focus on myself,” Lindsay told E!

Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were seen departing LAX airport for a international flight to Thailand on Sunday (April 5). Blake, brought along a pillow for the long trip but it came in handy to shield herself from photographes while she was waiting in line. Regardless of their fame the two remain down-to-earth and both Blake and Penn were seen checking in at the Premium Economy (coach) counter, rather than First Class.

The couple can “afford” to take a few days off since they have finished filming for the season of Gossip Girl. Last week, the cast celebrated at the Bowery Hotel. According to reports, Penn was so focused on his game of beer pong that Blake couldn’t get him to call it a night. Allegedly, Blake kept trying to get him to leave, but he was so focused on the game that he begged her to stay.

Drinking games seem to be a hobby for the cast of Gossip Girl. You may remember back in January, Chance Crawford, Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick were spotted at Brother Jimmy's on Eighth Avenue (after the Kings of Leon concert at Madison Square Garden) playing a game of "flip cup”, until 2 a.m.

This weekend, Beyonce was spotted having lunch with hubby Jay-Z, at French eatery Pastis in NYC's Meatpacking District. The couple recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary, and haven’t slowed down since the big day. B is currently on her “I Am” tour and has a new drama thriller coming out later this month called Obsessed. The flick opens everywhere on Friday, April 24th.

Staring tonight, it’s all downhill for Lauren Conrad as the “unwritten” reality series, centering on her life begins its final season. And it seems that "frenemy" Heidi Montag, isn't shedding too many tears for long-lost pal LC.

Montag tells MTV News: "We don't need her, we'll miss her. I just don't know if we need her." She goes on to say she was not surprised about Conrads decision to make this her last season: "I know she hasn't been wanting to be doing this for a while, and [the life she really leads] is not on camera," she says. "So I think it's a closing chapter for her. I'm sure she'll have fun and success."

Montag adds, "She's gotta leave the drama to the pros! I love The Hills and I definitely don't want to go anywhere anytime soon. That's my home and I'm so grateful to be on it, so we'll see."

In Conrad's “real” life she is dating “My Boys” actor Kyle Howard – the two were spotted this past weekend romping around the beaches of Malibu hitting the water for a paddleboat outing, and enjoying a shoreline stroll.

In related news, Heidi released two new singles — “Look How I’m Doing” and “Your Love Found Me” — the track title saying it all about this self absorbed songbird. Also, Lauren Conrad has her first fiction novel, L.A. Candy, hitting shelves June 16th. Super hottie James Franco is set to rejoin his Pineapple Express co-star Danny McBride in the new Universal Pictures comedy “Your Highness”.

Franco will play the heroic brother of lazy prince (McBride) on the quest to save his father's kingdom. When an evil wizard casts a spell on their father and kidnaps the older prince's fiancee, they're forced to go on a quest to save their family and the kingdom.

Danny co-wrote the script for the Universal Pictures production with Ben Best and directed by David Gordon Green.

Other projects on the board for Franco are Christopher Nolan's sci-fi thriller "Inception", but due to scheduling conflicts Franco had to pass on the project. He's also been offered a key role opposite Julia Roberts in "Eat Pray Love" for Sony Pictures.

James, 30, who starred opposite Sean Penn in the Oscar-winning Milk, is currently living in NYC where he is studying for a Master of Fine Arts degree in Writing at Columbia University and is also taking filmmaking classes at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

He is currently filming 'Howl' in the city, one of two biopics about the writer Allen Ginsberg. He plays the poet and philosopher and has also been spotted on set doing some work behind the camera.

'Highness' is due to begin shooting on July 20 in Belfast.

Before Twilight and New Moon, sexy bloodsucker Robert Pattinson made the indie comedy “How to Be”.

Pattinson plays Art, a twenty-something guy who is going through a quarter-life crisis after being dumped by his girlfriend and moves in with his parents. Feeling he's hit rock bottom instead of rock star status the struggling musician hires a live-in self-help guru to help him work through the pain and become "more normal."

The 22-year-old actor not only stars in the film but also performs three original songs on the soundtrack, which will be released on CD and as a digital download through iTunes and other online retailers on April 28.

The first 250 people who preorder the CD directly from Dreamboat Records before April 28 will be selected at random to receive a booklet poster personally signed by Pattinson. Paris Hilton and boy-toy Doug Reinhardt got into a club brawl Thursday night in South Beach. Allegedly, Paris was not happy with the music playing at club LIV Nightclub by Swedish spinner, DJ Steve Angello, so she did what only Paris would do - she went to the DJ booth to request hip-hop.

That’s when things got heated and Angello thought the starlet should "get over" herself. That is when security asked ex-inmate, Ms. Hilton, to exit the booth and Reinhardt stepped in turning the episode into a bloody brawl with Reinhardt walking away with a bloody lip.

In a battle of he-said, she-said, he-said, the celebutante and her toy-boy visited the Fontainebleau, where the DJ Steve Angello was spinning as part of the Winter Music Conference. The two took the fight into cyber-space each defending their part on Twitter and MySpace.

"For someone who claims to make records...don't come into a booth and ask me to play hip hop and then have your doorman slap me," Angello writes of the incident on his Twitter account.

"I was just protecting my girlfriend," Reinhardt tells E! News. "The DJ's bodyguard pushed Paris. I stepped in. He tried to push me and manhandle me." Really? “Manhandle Me” - come on Doug.

Angello's rep, Matt Learmouth, tells E! News the incident didn't quite go down the way the reality-star couple claims. "She kept asking the DJ and got quite agitated with Steve about playing hip-hop and it was obviously his event, his music. He wasn't going to do that," the publicist says. "And then she asked one of her security guards to punch Steve, and one of her security punched Steve full-on in the face. Steve responded and ended up having a brawl with the security guard. Steve doesn't even have a bodyguard, and they said that his bodyguard attacked her," Learmouth says. "Steve is a quiet guy, but he had to act in self-defense and fought back. He started pounding on the guy, and it suddenly turned into a full-scale fight in the DJ booth."

As the argument took a physical turn, hotel security had to intervene.
"I took [the bodyguard] down and five members of his entourage jumped me when I was on top of him," claims Reinhardt.

This Fall, the CW Network will add backbiting to there teen-raged backstabbing programs and air the pilot for their new series, Vampire Diaries, based on a series of books from L.J. Smith, centers on a woman who falls for two vampire brothers - one good and one evil.

The teenage trio’s story play out in a small Virginia town and focuses on two vampire brothers, Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and Elana Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), a human girl who reportedly gets whatever she wants.

Other cast membes include: Zach Roerig (Friday Night Lights) and Kayla Ewell (Entourage), and Steven R. McQueen (grandson of the late Steve McQueen). Roerig is in line to play a jock named Matt and Ewell's his sister, and McQueen was cast in the role of Jeremy, younger brother to Elena.

The story will be brought to the small screen by Kevin Williamson, famous for Scream and Dawson’s Creek, and Kyle XY’s Julie Plec. Both will pen the project with Williamson executive producing along with Les Morgenstein and Bob Levy. Vampire Diaries is scheduled to air this Fall.

Drew Barrymore 34, and Justin Long 30 were spotted this weekend together at Hollywood hotspot Bar Marmont. The pair came in together and spent the next few hours engaging in full-on PDA. “They couldn’t get enough of each other. I don’t think they even noticed that there were other people in the room! In between kisses it was all smiles and laughs."

The next night, the couple reunited at Ike sushi in Hollywood. “They sat at the sushi bar and ordered Sake and dinner. They were both in a great mood. They were smiling ear to ear the whole time, and laughing and looking they were so happy they were going to burst,” an eyewitness reveals. “Once they polished off the sake, Justin ordered a Sapporo beer and split it with Drew. Justin grabbed Drew’s hand and held it on his thigh. They looked in love. They finished their dinner with him springing for the tab, and walked out arm in arm.”

After splitting up eight months ago, it certainly seems that Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are back together again.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen married in a small, private ceremony at the St. Monica Catholic Church on Thursday, February 26 in Santa Monica, California. According to People, the New England Patriots quarterback and the Brazilian supermodel wed around 6pm. The wedding was private and intimate, and most guests were immediate family. Brady’s son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.

There had been reports for months the couple was planning a big wedding, but they ultimately opted for a last minute super private affair. Sources say that "the bride donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt and a floor-length veil.", and her three dogs also wore matching floral lace collars. After the ceremony, there was a small gathering at their home nearby. Tom, 31, and Gisele, 28, were engaged last month and have been dating since Christmas 2006.

Super-Hottie Megan Fox and fiance Brian Austin Green have called it quits and called off the engagement. The couple met in 2004 and got engaged in November 2006, but according to reports “The relationship had run its course. Originally Rihanna was planning on celebrating her 21st birthday today( Feb. 20 ) with a big, splashy party in New York City. But with the recent incident her music label has, understandably, canceled the pricey soiree, which it had been putting together for about a month. The bash for about 200 or so guests was to have had a carnival theme with various "sideshow" attractions, says a source familiar with the planning. It appears that all the kissing practice Robert Buckley got a few weeks ago at the Armani Exchange kissing booth in LA has paid off. The pop princess herself is planning on writing an autobiography. Britney, has already been signed up by a literary agent and will put pen to paper following her sell-out world tour. The ink should soon be dry on this $14 million dollar publishing deal. The pop princess may ruffle a few feathers in the process, as the book promises to be a "no-holds-barred account of her roller-coaster career". "And some of the stories she’s got are absolute dynamite. Britney kept diaries so there’s nothing she’ll leave out unless she wants to. Britney will talk frankly about growing up and how she went off the rails". When the deal goes through she will write between three and five books throughout the next decade - it's one of the most lucrative book deals in showbiz history.

There have been numerous unofficial autobiographies about Britney Spears over the years, but she’s never agreed to pen her own until now. While critics have been quick to write off Britney whenever her life has threatened to spiral out of control this time she is going to beat them to it. This will be Britney’s first book written by the singer herself.

It seems that there might be a new couple forming in young Hollywood. The rumor mill is buzzing that AnnaLynne McCord might be seeing Kellan Lutz. Our favorite 90210 hottie Annalynne McCord and Twilight hunk Kellen Lutz were spotted stepping out together after dinner at Arnie Morton’s Steakhouse in Burbank, Calif. on Friday night. Fergie and Josh Duhamel’s wedding has been set for this Saturday, January 10th but Fergie and Josh got the party started early with a bash Wednesday night. Fergie and Josh celebrated their joint bachelor/bachelorette party at Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica. The lounge was closed to the public in order to host the event, which started at 9pm. About 70 guests in cocktail attire were treated to a night of live music, food and dancing. The guests of honor arrived by limo at 9:30 with Fergie walking in first and Josh behind her. "She looked glowing," an onlooker reported. "They both looked excited." The duo partied until about 1am and left the bash together.

The longtime celebrity lovers will tie the knot in a ceremony, somewhere in Southern California this Saturday January 10th. To keep things under wraps, guests will be informed of the location on the day of the wedding: "They're going to send guests instructions via email. They'll be given an address and have to go a couple of locations before they get shuttled to the wedding itself." But I don’t think there are too many films coming out these days that we’re going to look at in the future and say, ‘This is one of the great ones.’ Like, what is the great film that I will tell my children about? I’m still going to tell them about the old films, the Hitchcock films. And people my age don’t even know who those people are. I can’t even have a conversation with most people of my generation about that, because they’d be like, ‘Okay, she’s a freak. Something’s wrong with her.’ And the worst part is, in terms of what people see of me, I have become this girl who just loves to be photographed, doesn’t know how to focus, doesn’t know how to work on set, just loves the attention, knows how to go out at night, knows how to party.”

On not getting the same opportunities as other actresses: “But it’s so impossible for me to actually [go someplace where no one knows me]. When I was in Dubai, there was still press lined up around the hotel. So I find it close to impossible to actually do that. I mean, it is what it is. This is what I asked for, and in this day and age that’s what actually goes on. But what hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life. On being in Hollywood to act, not to become a celebrity: “I just feel as though it’s become a situation where people have manifested this caricature of who I am, and they act as if there’s no real person inside of it. Twilight star Kristen Stewart is going to play famous rock’n'roller Joan Jett in “The Runaways,” the rock n’ roll biopic of the 1970s all-girl band. The screenplay was written by Video director Floria Sigismondi, who will also be directing. While John Jett, Art Linson and River Road Entertainment's Bill Pohlad are producing. Jett will also act as an executive producer.

The Runaways were hugely influential as the first successful all-girl hard rock band; its members included guitarists Jett and Lita Ford, drummer Sandy West, singer-keyboardist Cherie Currie and bassist Jackie Fox. The band was brought together in late 1975 by impresario Kim Fowley, who thought a novelty act of teenaged girls performing in leather and lace would be an easy sell, but the girls ended up proving to be serious and influential musicians with songs like "Cherry Bomb." The band lasted about four years together, falling apart over management and money issues.

Fresh from the success of "Twilight," Kristen Stewart is set to portray Joan Jett. Stewart gushed in a interview that the movie will follow the '70s all-girl band, The Runaways, from the time it was formed to the break-up. "It's about the forming and death of this band, and it launched Joan Jett's career and she became the icon for females in rock and roll," she shared. "It's an absolutely insane concept for me to even think that I'm going to play her, but apparently I got the job so I'm going to give it all I've got."

River Road Entertainment hopes to go into production in 2009 but will have to work around Stewart’s prior commitments to the two Twilight sequels.

Life & Style goes on to report that Sam Ronson is suffering from "exhaustion", "depression" and "stress. "She's been suffering from depression and from lack of food and sleep," a source tells Life & Style.

Reports state that Lindsay Morgan Lohan has been helping her through this as she has been through it herself two years ago. According to reports, friends of Ronson tell the magazine that they received "frantic phone" calls on Saturday night that the DJ-SR was suffering from exhaustion and stress.

Earlier today DJ-SR, said on her Web site that she is recuperating at home after a brief stay in a Los Angeles hospital, and said in her MySpace blog, that she was "just pretty exhausted from traveling and working too much" and that she is at home and "feeling much better."

Hugh Jackman was spotted stripping down at the security checkpoint with his ticket in his mouth, making his way out of Los Angeles, on a departing flight to NYC on Friday (December 19).

The 40-year-old actor, Hugh, will be spending Christmas in the Big Apple, strolling the streets of the far West Village. Despite his ranking as one of People magazine’s '50 Most Beautiful People in the World’ from 2000 to 2004, Jackman still walks freely in New York or London.

Jackman, his wife of 12years, actress Deborra-Lee Furness, and their two adopted children, Oscar, eight, and Eva, three, have lived a nomadic lifestyle in Pimlico, London and Soho, New York and after two years in Sydney, will return to New York this Christmas.

Hugh told the press his plans for his NYC visit: “I’m going to be in New York with my family. I’ll be going to the Nutcracker, I’ll be going to Rockefeller Plaza, I’ll be going to the Rockettes, maybe catch a Knicks game or two…. I’ve just been at home [in Australia] for two years straight, so I’ll be okay. But I actually like the snow. I like the cold – it’s all different, it’s all a novelty to me.”

Gossip Girl has let him venture into new directions, giving him enough teen cred to do a Midwest college tour this past October in support of Obama, a cause he’d have bled for. On Friday night the super sexy Rihanna and hottie Chris Brown took to the stage at the annual Z100 Jingle Ball at the Madison Square Garden, in NYC. The couple performed “Live Your Life”, the T.I. track that features Rihanna.

The 20-year-old pop-soul diva, Rihanna, and Brown (19) just completed a tour of Australia and New Zealand where he joined her nightly for a rendition of her biggest single, "Umbrella." While she acknowledged that they shared the stage, she has made a practice of not commenting about their nonmusical relationship, which reportedly has lasted three years.

Rihanna has had more No. 1 pop hits in the '00s than any other female star, and Chris Brown recently told Billboard that he’s already hard at work on material for RiRi’s next album. “I actually have a couple of songs written already that would be dope collaborations between me and her [Rihanna]. And I’m writing for her new album now!”

High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale hosted the Z100 Jingle Ball with Nick Lachey, and some of the biggest names joined Rihanna and Brown on the bill with music performances by : Kanye West, Leona Lewis, Brandy, Ne-Yo, Katy Perry, Jesse McCartney, Lady Gaga and David Archuleta.

Billboard Magazine “Women of the Year”, Ciara, weathered the stormy day in Manhattan yesterday to do some holiday shopping at the Armani Exchange store in SoHo, NYC. Super CiCi made her list, checked it twice, and shopped for family, friends, and everyone nice.

Ci has been busy preparing for the release of her third studio album, “Fanatsy Ride”, that includes tracks with Polow Da Don, Tricky, T-Pain, Young Jeezy, Missy, Ludacris, and The Dream! “Fantasy Ride” is set to release early 2009 and if her new single “Go Girl”, which features T-Pain, is an indication of the sound then it’s going to be one BIG FUN RIDE.

A new single called "Never, Never", produced by Polow da Don, will be released early next year and it is rumored that Ciara will expose her alter ego “Super Ci” to her fans. She is working with DC Comics artist Bernard Chang to bring a superhero feel to the cover art for the album. Check out the making of the album art in the video clip below.

Jennifer Aniston poses in nothing but a necktie on the January '09 cover of GQ magazine. The jaw dropping cover shoot and inside spread have Aniston sprawled in the raw across a group of undressed male models. But these aren’t just any male models, you may recognize one of the buff boys as the "face" of Armani Exchange’s underwear campaign, Clint Mauro. Clint became the A|X icon last fall with the launch of the new Armani Exchange underwear collection.

On why she thinks people are still interested in her split with Brad:

Aniston's next film called Pumas, which she calls "sort of a female Wedding Crashers" about two "aspiring cougars":
"It is so a comment on the sexual double standard, and what's been ironic is how hard it's been to get this movie made... Studios want it, but they are afraid of Middle America. They'd want to change it; they're saying, 'Oh, you can't do that, people just can't imagine you..."

What she sees as a disturbing problem in Hollywood:
"Look, I think all women on some level just want to rage against the machine... There are too many movies out there that don't empower women, movies in which their only way of being happy is finding a man. And you know, that's not my favorite theme."

The CW network, known for keeping the gossip spinning with their hit show “Gossip Girl”, is rumored to be testing a possible spin-off series of the drama-feast in an episode to air later this season.

It looks like “Little J” is bored with the backstabbing stunts of others and ready to take a slice at her social scandal. According to reports, an upcoming episode may double a test pilot for the possible spin-off “It Girl”, following the story of aspiring fashion maven Jenny Humphrey (played by Taylor Momsen), who ditches New York’s Upper East Side to start some trouble at boarding school.

And sharpen your knifes because there is talk that everybody’s favorite psycho-social, Georgina Sparks, is returning from boarding school to wreak havoc on the unsuspecting Upper East Side gossipmongers. Michelle Trachtenberg, who plays Georgina, will be back on the CW show, according to series creator Josh Schwartz. “It’s safe to say you haven’t seen the last of her,” he told a crowd of fans at a panel discussion in NYC.

According to sources, this plot twist is still in the early planning stages—there's no deal or script done yet—but it's in the works for the last third of season two and looks like the return of the bad girl is going to bring a wicked winter chill for all involved.

Sean hung out with fellow actors and friends, Bryan Lillis, Brad Benedict and hair stylist Paul Norton (all pictured above), while guests enjoyed cocktails and the incredible sounds of DJ Hoff.

Sean has been busy since starring in the movie “Never Back Down” with Cam Gigandet. He recently was seen on screen with Gossip Guy, Penn Badgley in the rugby movie “Forever Strong” and is currently filming “King of Fighters” with Maggie Q (Live Free and Die Hard), Will Yun Lee (Elektra), Francoise Yip (Alien vs. Predator - Requiem), Monique Ganderton (Supernatural) and the coolest Sith Lord ever, Ray Park (a.k.a. Darth Maul from Star Wars Ep I: The Phantom Menace).

“King of Fighters”, is directed by Gordon Chan (Fist of Legend, The Medallion) and introduces a new science fiction spin into the setting established in the games’ universe by following the surviving members of three legendary fighting clans who are continually whisked away to other dimensions by an evil power. “King of Fighters” is scheduled for release in summer 2009.

Spotted: Gossip Girl co-stars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr canoodling at an airport in Dallas, Texas, as they waited to catch a flight to New York on Sunday. According to a spywitness, Jessica and Ed were trying to be discreet by stealing kisses near the gate. They were being very flirty when people were not paying attention." The duo then boarded the plane and, according to the source, "they were kissing in the aisles, but once they sat, she read her script and he drank a Heineken."

Westwick was rumored to be involved with actress Drew Barrymore, but he has now sent gossips into a whirl by apparently stepping out with co-star Szohr. It looks like the pair have taken their on-screen romance off-screen. Move over Blake and Penn there's a new couple on the set of "Gossip Girl". A representative for both stars said, "We do not discuss our clients' personal life."

With her big CD release, and turning 27years old, Brit Brit had a lot to celebrate yesterday (December 2). Britney started off her night by taping her appearance at Rockefeller Center for the New York City Tree Lighting Ceremony, which airs tonight on NBC.

Once taping wrapped, Brit celebrated her B-Day 27 at the very trendy NYC nightclub club Tenjune, and the placed was loaded with a variety of circus-themed acts and paraphernalia.

Brit arrived looking beautifully vibrant in a sexy curve-hugging black and silver cocktail dress and sent photographers into a frenzy to get their shot of the megastar.

No party would be complete with its star quality and ringleader Brit brought them all out last night. Heidi Klum, Lance Bass, Robert Buckley and many other celebrities were in attendance for the party to celebrate Brit’s birthday.

Later in the night, Barry Weiss of Jive Records presented pop-princess Britney with a stunning sparkle-lit cake to celebrate the festivities, he also predicted her new CD “Circus” would be number 1 next week, making it Brit’s fifth number 1 album.

Ms. Britney Spears celebrates B-Day 27 with the release of her highly anticipated sixth studio album "Circus". She kicked off the birthday inside Lincoln Center’s Big Apple Circus tent in New York City for Good Morning America.

Brit Brit appeared on ABC's Good Morning America dressed as a ringmaster and she delivered starting with her dramatic arrival aboard a circus wagon accompanied by clowns, jugglers and performers dressed as circus animals. For Act II, Brit performed her pop-buster track "Womanizer," and reminded us all why she is the Pop-Princess of all time.

The show featured special birthday shout-outs from celebrities including Taylor Swift, Reese Witherspoon, John Travolta, and Hugh Jackman. Among members of the enthusiastic crowd were ex-momager Lynne Spears, and Brit's sons - Sean Preston and Jayden James to cheer on the Britney Spears "The Greatest Show on Earth - Circus".

Britney fans will be pleased to learn that she has announced that she'll kick off her tour on March 3rd in her home state of Louisiana, before moving on to 27 cities including Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Remember when Madonna invited Britney Spears on stage to perform during the Los Angeles leg of her Sticky and Sweet tour earlier this month? Well Brit Brit took home a lot more then a boost of confidence – she went home with icon style inspiration. BS took Madges concert look from “Sticky” to “Sweet” with her own version at the 60th annual Bambi Awards in Germany.

As part of the promotional tour for her upcoming CD “Circus”, Britney Spears cemented her comeback with a knockout performance at the 60th annual Bambi Awards in Germany, on Thursday.

Britney’s extravagant circus inspired performance of her hit “Womanizer” rocked the crowd (check it out below). In addition to her triumphant comeback performance, Spears also ended up taking home the award for Best International Pop Star.

The superstar performed to a star-studded crowd that included Pink, Leona, and Keanu Reeves - who was named as the Best International Actor. Keanu Reeves accepted his award wearing a Giorgio Armani two-button midnight blue shawl collar tuxedo with a classic point collar evening shirt and a midnight blue necktie. The 44-year-old actor, Reeves, will next be seen in the sci-fi thriller "The Day the Earth Stood Still", on December 11.

Ms. Brit Brit will be back in the States next week, appearing on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday to celebrate the release of her new CD - and later that day she will celebrate her Big Apple B-day at TenJune (she turns 27 the same day).

Australian hunk actor Hugh Jackman reigns as PEOPLE’ s new Sexiest Man Alive for 2008. And now he's wearing boxing gloves and (im)posing Wolverine-style for the latest “not-to-be-missed” issue of 2008 Vanity Fair Italia magazine. Riding high on the likely success of his latest flick, Australia, Hugh has taken this opportunity to reach out to his fans and prove that he indeed is the sexiest man alive on this planet.

In his upcoming outback flick, Australia, there are some pretty hot scenes between him and costar Nicole Kidman (also a dear friend of his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness). The mag asks him about the on-screen love affair and Hugh responds: 'Nicole and I have known each other for a lifetime. We talk honestly with one another. My wife understands that it's work.

To prepare for the rugged role, Jackson spent months on horseback. He wanted moviegoers to feel that he’d “been on that horse their whole life. Jackman stated: “When I watch a great rider, there’s something beautiful about watching their comfort and their ease.”

In a statement to the press about his “Sexiest Man Alive” People cover, Jackman finds the humor in it.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete Wentz have welcomed their first child, a boy Thursday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and measured 20 1/2 inches long. Wentz said his goal was to make sure his kid would have a moniker that would work as either "a rock star or a senator."

"Proud new parents Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz welcomed new son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, late this evening," the rep tells People. "Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!"

No doubt Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson is thrilled: In September, she said she couldn't wait to be an aunt. "I'm going to spoil the kid rotten, that's for sure," she said. "I think my sister's going to be pretty strict, actually, because she's been so good throughout her pregnancy."

Britney Spears is finally setting the record straight telling her side of the story about the chaotic last few years of her life in a candid new documentary. Britney is ready to show the world what's really going on in a 90 minute documentary that will air on MTV on November 30th 2008. She is opening up about her everything from her new album to her mental breakdown in the segment, called "Britney: For the Record". Cameras followed the pop princess for six months as she slowly but surely bounced back from her highly-public breakdown at the start of the year.

According to People magazine, since her breakdown, Spears, 26 says "I wanted to make this film because I started to feel like I wasn’t being seen in the light that I wanted to be seen in. This is an opportunity to set the record straight and talk about what I have been through and where I’m headed. I have really good days, and then I have bad days. Even when you go to jail, you know, there’s the time when you’re gonna get out. But in this situation, it’s never ending. It’s just like movie ‘Groundhog Day".

Get ready to see about her new life after the evaluation, "which she says is too constraining and controlled". She says in an MTV promotion for the documentary “I sit there and I’ll look back and I'm like, ‘I’m a smart person. Like what the h*ll was I thinkin?’" But Spears has spent the last few months steadily working on a comeback, and with her new album “Circus” due in stores in December. December is a BIG month for Brit-Brit Spears – not only is she celebrating her 27th B-Day on “Good Morning America”, on December 3rd, but she is also expected to light up the charts with the release of her new CD “Circus” and light up the holiday as she appears at the "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" tree lighting ceremony.

This weekend November 15, 2008 Beyonce appeared on SNL as the musical guest. Proving she’s a good sport she was joined by host Paul Rudd, Justin Timberlake, Bobby Moynihan, and Andy Samberg rehearsing a parody of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies” video. Timberlake, Samberg, and Moynihan rehearse in leotards and heels as a backup dancers for the singer for her Single Ladies.

The 27-year-old R&B singer also performed two singles out of the new album–If I Were A Boy (from Disc 1 I Am…) and Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) (from Disc 2).

Beyonce is promoting her new album: I am... Sacha Fierce, a labor of love featuring 80 songs, which is expected to release Tuesday, November 18th. As a preview to the release, beginning at 12:01 am PST Tuesday, fans in 20 countries will be able to stream the full album only on MySpace Music, before it's officially released anywhere else.

"When I started the record," says Beyonce on her MySpace, "I knew that, artistically, I have to grow. Even though I've been very successful and very fortunate, I want to still be challenged and still be nervous and still be anxious about all the things that make my career exciting."

NYLON magazine threw a celebration bash at Foxtail club in West Hollywood this Tuesday in honor of their American issue featuring Paris Hilton as the cover girl of this months issue. On transitioning from movies to television: “I’ve been learning as I’m going along. I thought, Okay, I’ll try a movie. And I was loving films, so I thought, No, I don’t want to try TV. But now I’m loving being on the show more than I ever could have imagined. It has been just the most amazing experience anybody could ever ask for. It’s such a blessing.”

On how the gossip cast is expected to get through a 55 page script every eight days: “You get used to it. I can read a four-page scene once and have it memorized. It’s a skill you learn in school: disposable cramming. We’re flying by the seat of our pants a lot of times, which is why I enjoy doing films. It’s a change of pace. It sounds cheesy, but with a film, you get to let each scene marinate.”

Last night Pop Princess Rihanna showed signs of distress while on stage in Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia during her concert yesterday. The dare devil had just come down from flying around on a harness for the show and was performing her smash hit “Umbrella”, the last song of her concert.

She was then joined by Beau Chris Brown for a duet as the final performance of the night. Rihanna was then seen hunching over and signaling that she wasn’t feeling well. Rihanna then stumbling into the arms of her staff and was pulled off stage, where paramedics rushed to her side. Chris finished the song and rushed backstage to check on her.

The concert ended without any mention of what happened and no statements have been released at this moment. We wish you the best Rihanna and hope for a speedy recovery!

Ryan Reynolds completed the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday. Ryan commented "I'm still standing. I'm very excited about that," he told reporters after crossing the finish line in 3 hours and 50 minutes, faster than he anticipated.

"It was an incredible experience." He was determined to hit the finish line to honor his father Jim, who has spent the last 15 years battling Parkinson's. Reynolds says in the last leg of the race, he was motivated to keep going by one special spectator. "When I saw Michael J. Fox on Fifth Avenue, I gained about 15 pounds in goose bumps," said Reynolds. "It kind of pushed me through the last six miles or so."

"During the race I thought a lot about my father and Michael and the 500,000 other people afflicted with this awful disease in the United States alone. I ran for those who can't."

Reynolds's mother Tammy and brother Terry greeted him with hugs at the finish line in Central Park.

Ryan finished the 26.2mile race at a very respectable 3:50:22 with his wife there to cheer him on. Mr. Reynolds, runner number 14778, ran for Team Fox of the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Last night, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson owned the night at the 3rd Rome International Film Festival in Italy, for the premiere of their movie Twilight.

Twilight is a young adult vampire / romance novel written by author Stephanie Meyer. The first installment, written in 2005, introduces a pair of lovers - Isabella “Bella” Swan (Stewart) and rebel with a cause Edward Cullen (Pattinson). Only problem -- he's a vampire

The game Guitar Hero has brought in some serious sports stars for their new ad for the World Tour video game. This very entertaining ad is Directed by Brett Ratner featuring A-Rod alongside some of the worlds greatest athletes, Kobe Bryant, Tony Hawk and Michael Phelps. Each star pays tribute in an homage to the classic Tom Cruise scene in "Risky Business." Kobe rocks the mic, A-Rod and Phelps tear it up on guitar, and Tony Hawk slides in on a skateboard to jam on the drums.

Guitar Hero: World Tour is in stores starting on Sunday, October 26. The game features a newly redesigned guitar controller, drum kit with cymbals and a mic. The game is now available for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PS2.

Chace Crawford graces the cover of VMAN magazine’s first-ever winter issue this month. Looking polished and preppy, the Gossip GIrl hunk is featured in a series of stunning images captured by renowned photographer Mario Testino, who served as the issue’s guest editor.

VMAN editor Jesse Ashlock says that Chace "embodies the kind of emerging star VMAN strives to celebrate. As Mario Testino’s images show, he’s classic, yet completely of this moment, and he’s ambitious without taking himself too seriously.”

For his career, Chace credits his breakout star status on chance. “I never planned on being an actor. It sort of fell into my lap rather quickly,” he explains, revealing that soon after leaving college to try his hand at acting, he landed a role in the 2006 supernatural thriller The Covenant, then struck gold a few months later when he was cast as Nate Archibald in Gossip Girl.

But his skyrocketing fame has not come without consequences. Regarding the paparazzi and tabloid stories he faces on a daily basis, Chace says: “I let it roll off my back. There’s a lot of speculation with no reality to it, complete fabrications about my private life. It’s just comical.”

And while teenage girls everywhere openly love Gossip Girl, Chace is very aware of the show’s popularity with the adult world. “I’ll be out on the golf course," he says. “And some guy will come up to me, sort of sheepishly, and be like, ‘Hey, my wife really loves the show. Zac Efron celebrated his 21st birthday at L.A.'s Pace restaurant in Hollywood on Saturday. The High School Musical star had an intimate two-hour dinner with a group of friends and family that included his parents and brother, girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman , Ashley Tisdale and her boyfriend Jared Murillo. Also there, were pals Michelle Trachtenberg, Amanda Bynes, Brittany Snow and singing sisters Aly and AJ Michalka. Guests arrived with wrapped gifts, including bottles of liquor for the actor, who can now legally drink alcohol.

After the dinner party Efron and Hudgens left the rustic Italian eatery hand-in-hand just before midnight and disappeared into a waiting car. But the celebration continued as they took the party to Chateau Marmont.

Last night GQ Magazine hosted the Gentlemens Ball at The Edison Ballroom in New York City. Hunks, including Usher, Mark Wahlberg, and Joshua Jackson, attend the “Gentlemen’s Ball”. As well as a guest performance by Keri Hilson and Timbaland.

The Gentlemen’s Ball was a exclusive fundraising event to celebrate and support all five 2008 Gentlemen’s Fund partner charities — MENC: The National Association for Music Education, The Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation, The Alliance For Climate Protection, Hope North, and the Steve Nash Foundation.

Gossip Girl Blake Lively shows how important family is when the starlet made a frantic flight from NY to LA to be at the hospital bedside of her father, actor Ernie Lively, who was seriously injured in an car wreck. Blake's father was injured in the early morning hours of Oct. 13 and was taken to an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital where he is being treated for a broken back as well as arm and nose.

“It was pretty bad — he’s lucky to be alive,” a source tells Star. “They are as close as any father and daughter could be — she was beside herself when she got this horrible news. Her dad taught her everything.”

Blake’s mom, Elaine tells Us Weekly: “He’s going to make a full recovery, thankfully. It was a horrific accident. He was on his way to the set of Criminal Minds, and he swerved to miss a car, and he tumbled down an embankment. Blake is here, the whole family is here, and yesterday it didn’t look good. But thankfully, now we have been told he is going to make a full recovery. It’s all been taken care of. [Ernie] suffered back injuries, and also his lungs. But it if far less serious than we thought yesterday. We do not know when he will be out of hospital. We are just happy he is going to be OK.”

26-year-old Canadian actor, Taylor Kitsch, from The Covenant and "Friday Night Lights", has signed a three-movie deal to play Gambit (AKA Remy LeBeau), in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Gambit is one of the most popular characters from the Marvel universe that everyone has wanted to see featured in a movie.

Gambit is a mutant and member of the X-Men who possesses the ability to manipulate kinetic energy as well as limited hypnosis. He is known for his love and manipulation of playing cards, being incredibly skilled in card throwing and hand-to-hand combat. Gambit is the X-Men's self-described ladies man and has held a relationship with Rogue over the years.

Taylor will be joining Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Liev Schreiber (Sabretooth), Danny Huston (William Stryker) and Lynn Collins (Silver Fox) in the 20th Century Fox release, directed by Gavin Hood, opening May 1, 2009.

On what it’s like talking to college students about the election during the primaries: It was amazing that these kids are just so well-informed and so interested. There were really obscure questions and debates that they wanted to lead — I couldn’t believe it! And it was amazing how many of these kids turned out. We made the environment friendly. I’m 23, and all of these kids are probably between 16 to 24. They’re my peers, so we can all talk on the same wavelength. We’re all connected by the same issues.

On celebrity endorsements during presidential elections: In this day and age, the media has this 24-hour news cycle that they need to fulfill their obligation to. And it seems like celebrities are a huge part of that, so it just seems unavoidable. It’s important to bring to light certain issues. If this spotlight is already shining on me and I feel like there’s a worthwhile cause, then why not direct it toward that? I hope that my [involvement] encourages the youth population to go out and inform themselves.

On giving brother Hunter advice on dating: You know what? It is true, actually. Who else has he got? I’m the first source, right? He gets a firsthand point of view from a girl his same age. I love it. I feel like it’s something nice that we can bond over.

On true equality existing in our country: I think that we still live in a country that’s sexist and racist. Those are issues that we deal with whether we want to ignore it or not. Seeing how the media portrayed Hillary [Clinton] with unbelievable sexism — some of the things that people were saying were just so overwhelming. You just couldn’t believe the names that they were calling her! As much as I feel like there is this American Dream that is an equal opportunity to succeed, I don’t think that it is a reality. I’m not pessimistic, though. I think we have the potential to someday reach that.

On what makes her happy: "Things that make me happy are being with my friends and family, and also things like a challenge — using my brain, you know? That makes me feel good. When I’m challenged and when I feel like I want to get to the bottom of something, when I’m engaged, that makes me happy. Being engaged in something or bettering myself in some way."

The Darjeeling Limited star Adrien Brody bought his dream home last summer - A 19th century farm in the countryside of upstate New York. The actor bought the home as a special birthday present for actress girlfriend Elsa Pataky.

The couple, refusing to hire professionals to finish the property, has spent their free time redesigning and decorating it. Brody has since requested the help of close pal Giorgio Armani to help design the interiors of his home.

Brody says, "We prefer to do it ourselves. I think it's very important to be involved personally with anything creative. I cannot just hand things over. I've got lots of ideas and I can't just let somebody else do it. It doesn't feel as rewarding as doing it yourself - no architects, no property specialists, none of that - although we do have good friends who help us out."

Brody says "One day I wrote a letter to Giorgio Armani asking him if he'd be interested in helping us. He loved the idea and got personally involved."

Brody admits there is so much work to do on the castle and believes he will be devoting the rest of his life to renovating it. He adds, "It's never going to be finished. It's a life project, whether I like it or not! I think that there's beauty in that…acknowledging that something can never be really finished. I think that this farm can constantly evolve."

Chace on after his touch-ups are done: “I literally go into the bathroom and wipe off one layer [of makeup. My occasional zit is] a big deal—oh, they turn on the alarms for that. And they get mad if I get sunburned or if I get a haircut.”

Chace on being contracted for six years, like his costars: “It never really gets frustrating. Sure, sometimes you just want to have a scene where you’re drunk or having fun. I’m hoping for a fall from grace for Nate. Five years from now, I better have murdered someone!”

Penn on his on-and-off-screen relationship with costar Blake Lively (they were home-schooled together): “[It's] wonderful and also something to grapple with [in terms of mixing work and pleasure]. You have to draw the line somewhere. I’m fine talking about my family and personal history, because it humanizes you. But I have to save some s— for me.”

Ed on Penn’s chest hair: “Penn said he has to shave his chest hair because it’s threatening “Reeeaallly … Well, I think Penn’s chest hair may be more like a scaahf. It actually comes out of his neck! So maybe that’s why he has to cut it. Threatening? I don’t know what threatening hair would look like. We’d have to get Penn here to see!”

Ed on being miserable approaching the end of school in the U.K.:”I don’t understand how the government expects a 16-year-old to know what they want to do. It made me incredibly anxious and upset.”

Yesterday was a very busy day for Britney Spears as she spent much of her day in NYC doing good deeds for children in need. The 26 year old pop princess posed with children at John Philip Sousa M.S. 142 in NYC and presented $10,000 for an endowment for the school’s music program.

“I really enjoyed the time I spent at the John Philip Souza Middle School,” Spears told People. “I’ve been working with the people at Elizabeth Arden for the last five years, and I know how passionate everyone is about the school. I loved hearing the school orchestra and the children sang so beautifully. The fact that Elizabeth Arden made such a large donation for the school music studio in my name was so generous.”

As night fell, Britney Spears decided it was time for some fun. The “Gimme More” starlet was spotted visiting the SoHo house for dinner before heading over to the Box night club in New York City, looking stunning in a close-fitting royal blue v-neckline dress with dark heels.

Actor James Franco is Mr. November appearing on this month's Cover of Out magazine. The cover screams tag line "GOT MILK?" to help hype his new flick "Milk" which is said to be released mid November.

The movie's story "Milk" charts the last eight years of Harvey Milk’s life. Harvey Milk was California's first openly gay elected official and was later assassinated, along with San Francisco Mayor George Moscone Franco's starring opposite Sean Penn

It was OUT magazine that James Franco told about Sean Penn's "popping the cherry" text to Madonna, Sean Penn was so excited by his first on screen gay kiss, he text ex-wife Madonna to boast staing, "I just popped my cherry kissing a guy. I thought of you. I don't know why"

Franco also said of Penn: "At one point during rehearsals, the idea was thrown out that Sean and I would go to the apartment that we eventually shot in and spend a night or two there just to, like — I don’t know what — feel comfortable with each other? That idea was kind of thrown out but ended up not happening because of scheduling. I approached the relationship part as I would approach any relationship. When I’m working with another actor or actress that I’m supposed to have a relationship with, I’ll look for things in the person I like. My other hero on the film was Sean, so it wasn’t too hard to look up to him — or whatever that is....Basically, I’ve been in love with him since even before Fast Times."

After months of refusing to comment on the public speculation about their relationship, our favorite actress Lindsay Morgan Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson finally confirmed their relationship on loveline a L.A. radio call-in show last night. The couple called into the show to chat with DJ Ted Stryker about DJ AM's recent survival of a plane crash that killed four other passengers.

As the conversation was wrapping up, Stryker casually asked Lindsay on air, "Now, you guys, you and Samantha have been going out for how long now? Like two years? One year? Five months? Two months?" Lohan responded, "A long...a very long time."
"I hope you guys stay together, you're a very lovely looking couple," Stryker added, to which Lindsay replied, "Thank you very much."

Lindsay Morgan and Ronson have accompanied each other almost everywhere for over two years now, attend events together, wear matching rings, kiss in public, and have had their relationship captured in numerous photographs. They have even spoken out together against Gov. Sarah Palin's anti-gay stance. At 22 and 31, Lohan and Ronson are among the youngest "out" lesbian celebrity couples in America.

Katie Holmes has been working 12-hour, 7-day weeks in order to prepare for her first big role on Broadway in the musical “All My Sons.” Last night at New York City’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre all her hard work finally paid off as the starlet gave it her all at the opening preview performance. Katie Holmes was all smiles during the curtain call of the opening night.

Before the show, the 29-year-old actress and costar John Lithgow stood outside the theater to take photographs for paparazzi and fans. Husband Tom Cruise, of course, was there on opening night to lend his support. When asked for his verdict on Holmes’ performance, Cruise stopped for a moment while moving through the crowd at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre, telling The Associated Press: “Did you see it? It was extraordinary.”

Hundreds of fans bought tickets to see Holmes act on Broadway for the first time in a preview performance for the revival of “All My Sons,” co-starring John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest and Patrick Wilson. As the show opened Holmes and her fellow cast members stepped out on stage to start the play, which officially opens Oct. 16.

If Holmes felt nervous and jittery, she didn’t show it. She delivered her lines with confidence and projected her girlish voice so it could be heard loud and clear. She danced around on stage with gusto. She looked lovely in two dresses that highlighted her trim yet shapely figure. She wore a brown shoulder-length hairpiece to hide her trendy pixie cut.

And she received a standing ovation afterward. It’s safe to say that no one probably clapped harder than Cruise. The role calls for Holmes’character — named Ann — to be at turns winsome and willful, and theatergoer Diane Yatauro thinks she nailed it. “It was a very tough role in that she had to be delicate and hurt and strong,” said Yatauro, 54, of Glen Cove, N.Y. “She was playing against some heavyweights who’ve been around for a long time and she held her own.”

The 29-year-old star — accompanied by Lithgow, stopped to pose for photographers outside and called her performance “fine.” She and Lithgow then jumped into a black SUV that sped them away from the surrounding media and fan frenzy. Stay tuned for more reviews on Holmes fantastic performance!

Megan Fox is heating up the over of GQ's October issue. The 22 year old Transformer hottie shows off her curvy figure for the magazine's cover in black bikini. Besides the cover shoot, Fox is also photographed for some other sultry poses inside the magazine. She's seen in one pic wearing a white bikini, coming out of a swimming pool and is also photographed posing in pink bikini, having her mouth open as she plays with an ice cube.

In the magazine, Megan is honest about her limitations as an actress: "I've done one movie. And it’s not a movie I want to stand on as far as acting ability goes. I mean—I'm not going to win an Oscar anytime soon. I’m not Meryl Streep.” She also admitted that she's "very excited to be involved with GQ", stating it as such a "great magazine."

Megan didn't hold anything back in her interview when asked about thinking we shouldn’t be such prudes: she commented “Sex is something that everyone does, so why can’t I talk about it?”

Our favorite hunk James Franco has signed on to star in the Gus Van Sant-produced Allen Ginsberg biopic Howl. James Franco will play the young poet as he composes the epic poem that landed him in a famous courtroom battle over obscenity. The movie, written and directed by documentaries Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, will also feature David Strathairn, Alan Alda, Jeff Daniels, Mary-Louise Parker and Paul Rudd. The film is said to focus on the obscenity trial surrounding the 1957 American publication of Ginsberg's most famous poem, "Howl."

In addition to starring in “Howl” James Franco is now an Ivy League student as well. James Franco has recently enrolled in writing school to hone in on his writing skills at Columbia University’s MFA program.

News of this has traveled fast. It seems like many Columbians have been desperate to catch the star's attention whenever he makes a public appearance. Reports recently said while studying in a campus coffee shop, a crowd had formed around him like "cats in heat". “ About 20 minutes later, people start hoarding around the entrance of the cafe, and by 11:50PM, most Columbians, particularly the freshman girl were all harassing the poor guy. At first, he would try not to respond. This made things quite awkward since the girls were shameless enough to literally go right up to him in attempts to get his attention. They were crowding around him and staring into his face and his emails on his mac. He thought his headphones had the power to transport him into another world where he could be a student in peace."

Hopefully Mr. Franco will not go overboard in his attempts to mimic Ginsberg, if he goes too far he might end up getting kicked out of Columbia. “Howl” is slated to be released sometime in 2009.

Lindsay Morgan Lohan joined America Ferrara, Vanessa Williams and the rest of the “Ugly Betty” crew, as the sitcom’s production hit Central Park in New York for a day of filming. Lindsay Morgan Lohan returns to the show playing Betty’s high-school tormentor but stepped out of character to remember the horrific events of September 11th, 2001. Two buildings that shaped one of the most famous skylines in this country, or in the world...... Seven years later and I will never forget. I don’t really know what to say except to all those we lost we will never forget and never take for granted the sacrifices that you made.

The new tattoo is the word ‘nine’ which is Tony’s jersey number, Eva has had hers for awhile now but we think Tony was looking for a special way to show his devotion to his wife now they they’ve offically made it past the 1-year mark of their marriage.

Over the weekend Gossip Girl Blake Lively finally celebrated her 21st birthday with a Jazz Age themed bash. Blake actually turned 21 years old on August 25, where she had cake with cast members on the set of her hit TV show "Gossip Girl", but the Gossip Girl decided she would celebrate her birthday when the time was right.

The flapper-themed party was held at the New York Palace Hotel in NYC on Saturday Sept. 6. Coming to such idea, the birthday girl asks all the guests to wear 1920s-style outfits.

Alongside Blake was her high school friends and family, along with Gossip Girl co-stars Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick, Connor Paolo and Michelle Trachtenberg. And of course, her boyfriend Penn Badgley. James Franco was also on hand, and crooner Michael Bublé even sang “Happy Birthday” to Blake! A party goes commented “They all were very cozy,”. “They seem as if they’ve known each other forever.”

Last night was the official kickoff for NYC Fashion Week and it went off in style, starting with the Conde Nast Media Group "Fashion Rocks" pre-party event at Mansion in NYC.

The entire venue was filled with high-style drama and rockstar cool, with signature fashion rocks drinks, sexy lighting, model installation, and an insanely hot performance by the Pussycat Dolls.

The main room filled to capacity, with industry insides, tastemakers, fashionistas and bold-face names. Spotted at Mansion Natasha Bedingfield, the boys of Hanson, Tyra's BFF Miss Jay Alexander, Zachary Levi, One Republic, Will.I.Am of The Black Eyed Peas, and many more....

Emporio Armani has unveiled their new ad campaign for the fragrance "Diamonds for Men", featuring Hollywood actor Josh Hartnett. Diamonds was created in cooperation with L'Oreal for urban, young men. "I have long admired Josh Hartnett, who represents one of the most talented actors of his generation", commented 20 Giorgio Armani. "Both on and off screen he has a charm and charisma that is magnetic. His individuality, allure and nonchalant way of being are all qualities which inspired me in the creation of this new fragrance."

The perfume was created by Jacques Cavallier of Firmenich. According to Fragrantica, "It contains gourmet-woody aromatic juicy, with an unusual gourmet reversal in the top notes. The perfume opens with sparkling, sweet aromas of bergamot, with Guaiac, vetiver, cedar, Szechuan pepper, cocoa and ambroxan." The bottle of Emporio Armani Diamonds for Men was designed by Giorgio Armani himself in the shape of a square-cut diamond.

Fashion photographer Mario Testino shot the printed ads for the campaign while David Slade directed the video commercial.

Lindsay Morgan Lohan returns to the set of Ugly Betty this season. The 22-year-old actress, was spotted filming her guest appearance as Betty Suarez’s high school nemesis, Kimmie from last season. LML wore a old-school cheerleader’s outfit on the set of Ugly Betty at a high school in New York City’s Queens.

"Ugly Betty" has been a career boost for Lohan, who earned a thumbs-up from critics for her turn on the show's season finale this past spring, reports the New York Daily News.

Armani Exchange beauty Alessandra Ambrosio and California businessman Jamie Mazur welcomed a beautiful baby girl Sunday in Brazil.

The new mom told People: “To all of our family and friends, we are pleased to announce that our little princess Anja Louise Ambrosio Mazur was born on Sunday Aug 24 at 7:32 p.m. She is 6.3 lbs. and absolutely perfect.”

Alessandra added, " We have now felt a new kind of love and joy that we never knew existed.”

The happy new parents have been dating since 2005 and this is the first child for the both of them.

Ricky Martin welcomed twin boys via a surrogate mother, his rep announced Wednesday. A statement from the "Livin' la Vida Loca" singer, revealed that, the boys were born "a few weeks ago, the children are healthy and already under Ricky's full-time care.

The 36-year-old Latin sensation will take a year off to be a full-time dad and raise the twins. Ricky is excited to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children.
