
Following her morning press duties, that included a stop at “Live with Regis and Kelly,” Selena Marie Gomez took advantage of her free time with a shopping spree in New York City on Tuesday (June 16).
The 16-year-old starlet, best known for playing Alex Russo on the Disney Channel Original Series, Wizards of Waverly Place, was joined by her cousin Priscilla DeLeon, for a little bit of retail therapy. The Disney sweetheart shopped the A|X summer collection at the Armani Exchange in Soho, before rushing off to a taping of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”
Meanwhile, Miss Gomez and gal pal Demi Lovato, are promoting “Princess Protection Program,” and recently spoke with People Magazine about their friendship.
Demi stated, “I’m very protective of our friendship. I think I’d be like, ‘You can have him, because I don’t want to ruin our friendship.’ Then she’d be like, ‘No, you can have him,’ and then we’d end up not liking him.”
Selena added, “I’ve cut out the people who I don’t need in my life. I realized I should surround myself with people who make me smile.”
