
Today is the official start date on the filming of “Remember Me”, staring 22-year-old British actor Robert Pattinson.
Pattinson plays the lead role in "Remember Me," a story of a young couple whose escalating relationship is complicated by a succession of family tragedies that test their bond. Emilie de Ravin (Lost and Roswell alumni) will play Rob's love interest.
The film is rumored to be based off of Love Story, the 1970s the film and book of the same name written by Erich Segal, who also wrote the screenplay.
Emmy-winning director Allen Coulter ("The Sopranos," "Damages") will direct "Remember Me", and Jenny Lumet, who penned the script for last year's critical darling "Rachel Getting Married," has written the screenplay. The film also stars: Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper and Lena Olin.
Remember Me is scheduled to be released just before Valentine’s Day, 2010.
