Tom Brady was spotted outside girlfriend Gisele Bundchen’s apartment yesterday wearing what appears to be a walking cast or boot on his right foot.
When asked if his leg is injured, Brady said on WEEI radio, “Ah, you know, there’s always bumps and bruises. I’ll be ready for the Super Bowl. I’m not missing this one. I’d have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will be treatment this week. In games like this, you get a little nicked up. It’s nothing serious.”
Brady led the Patriots to victory Sunday in the AFC Championship game against the San Diego Charges bringing in 22-of-33 for 209 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions in a 21-12 win.
Brady’s injury comes just two weeks before the Patriots face the New York Giants in the Super Bowl in Arizona.
