Oscar winner Dreamgirl Jennifer Hudson has reportedly joined the cast of “Sex and the City: The Movie” (New Line Cinema), the film based on the hit HBO comedy series.
Filming begins in NYC next week and Hudson has been cast to play the character “Louise,” the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker’s character Carrie Bradshaw.
Hudson recently completed production on Rowan Woods’ ensemble drama “Winged Creatures” (Sony), in which she co-stars with Kate Beckinsale, Forrest Whitaker, Jackie Earle Haley and Dakota Fanning. Jennifer is also in the studio working on her debut CD for Arista Records, which is slated to be released in Spring 2008.
