“Y Tu Mama Tambien” stars Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna will team up once again. The pair are to host a gala dinner this Saturday to raise money and awareness for human rights in Mexico.
The benefit gala will take place in the capital will benefit Mexico’s Commission for the Defense and Promotion of Human Rights in an effort to fight against poverty and injustice in Mexico. Another organization that will benefit from this charity event will be “Witness”, an organization founded by singer Peter Gabriel that shines a light on the use of video and film to document human rights abuses.
Gael and Diego have also been active supporting other social and political causes, including Mexico City’s new law making gay civil unions legal.
