Kimmel Live underwent an emergency appendectomy in Los Angeles last night.
“The surgery was a success, and is resting comfortably and is looking forward to getting back to work,” according to publicist, Lewis Kay.
The ABC talk show "Jimmy Kimmel Live" has been cancelled until he is back on his feet.
