OMFG there’s a new blonde joining the upper east side! Hilary Duff will be joining Gossip Girl for a multi-episode guest arc when the teen dramedy returns to The CW for a third season this fall.

The 21-year-old singer/actress will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. As fate would have it she ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).

In case you forgot also accepted at NYU was Queen B, Blair (Leighton Meester) and Dan (Penn Badgley) so it’s safe to assume that the gossip girls and boy will be be minoring in Drama as well. E! also reports that Olivia will be the new love interest for Dan (Penn Badgley). Watch out S it seems like there’s a new blonde in town.

Hilary Duff is scheduled to debut in this season’s fourth episode, slated to air on Monday, October 5th on The CW.

Eve will once again show off her acting chops with a two-episode guest-starring role on Fox's "Glee" this fall, playing the coach of a rival glee club that poses a threat to McKinley High.

"Glee" follows a passionate high school teacher who is eager to revive his school's glee club, and features a soundtrack of both past and present hits.

The upcoming season also will see appearances from Josh Groban, Kristen Chenoweth and Victor Garber.

Eve's fourth studio album, "Flirt," is coming out later this year. Her debut, "Ruff Ryders' First Lady," was released in 1999 went double platinum. She won a Grammy in 2002 for best rap/sung collaboration for "Let Me Blow Ya Mind," featuring Gwen Stefani.

Not new to the world of acting, Eve starred alongside Vin Diesel in "xXx," "Barbershop" with Ice Cube and "The Cookout," featuring Queen Latifah. Starting in 2003, Eve played a role as a fashion designer on her own TV show, "Eve," for three seasons.

"Glee" was co-created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan; it's produced by Randy Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox. It debuts in the fall on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 9 p.m.

It's official the new season of Smallville can't get here soon enough. In addition to hottie Tom Welling aka Clark Kent, Brian Austin Green has been cast on Smallville as the DC Comics villain Metallo. Green will appear as the kryptonite-powered villain (alter ego "Daily Planet" journo John Corben) in at least the first two episodes of Season 9, starting Friday, Sept. 25.

Green's Smallville appearence comes on the heels of him costarring on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which was canceled after two seasons. Smallville fans are still waiting for news on big, bad Zod, given the events of the Season 8 finale, but that role still has yet to be cast. Stay tuned for more to come on BAG and smallville.

The Paramount Theater in Los Angeles hosted the second season premiere party for "True Blood" on Tuesday, June 9. In attendance was real-life couple Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin who arrived together on the red carpet, posing individually, as a couple and with creator Alan Ball. Following the stream for red carpet photo session were the main cast of the vampire drama series such as Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley, Nelsan Ellis, and Ryan Kwanten. Additionally, Carrie Preston who plays Arlene Fowler in the series was accompanied by her actor husband Michael Emerson, who can be recognized playing Ben Linus on ABC's "Lost". Others spotted within the crowd were cast Alexander Skarsgard and Todd Lowe, as well as guests Rebecca Mader and Perrey Reeves.

This Sunday, June 14, HBO will welcome back its Primetime Emmy-winning series "True Blood". To keep fans' adrenalin pumped, the network has released four clips that show the development of the characters and what problems they deal in the second season. The second season of TV Land's hit original series She's Got The Look is out to discover the next supermodel over the age of 35. The contenders will live in a house together and participate in weekly challenges to see who has what it takes to give us "The Look."

The winner will receive $100,000, a contract with the world-famous Wilhelmina Modeling Agency and a spread in SELF magazine. Supermodel Kim Alexis returns as host along with supermodel Beverly Johnson, celeb stylist Robert Verdi and Wilhelmina President Sean Patterson as judges.

First there was Dracula, then there was Twilight, followed by True Blood. And now there's The Vampire Diaries. We can't get enough of those sexy vampires and our newest fixation is coming to the CW this fall with Vampire Diaries.

Vampire Diaries is the new, teen-oriented drama from The CW. The show is based on a series of books written by L.J. Smith, and tells the story of a high school girl named Elena who falls in love with the very mysterious Stefan, who happens to be a centuries-old vampire. Stefan and his brother Damon have a tumultuous relationship thanks to another woman who came between them many years ago. Their relationship goes from bad to worse when Elena captures the attention of both men and an epic battle for her heart ensues.

Former Lost star Ian Somerhalder has snagged the role of Damon. Nina Dobrev has been cast to play Elena and Paul Wesley from Everwood joins the cast as the 200-year-old Stefan. Dawson's Creek’s Kevin Williamson will be the executive producer for the series. The show is set to air at 8pm on Thursday nights. This just in: Drama sells
Lauren Conrad is out and Kristin Cavallari is in. After weeks of speculation, it was confirmed today that former Laguna Beach star Kristin Cavallari will be “replacing” Lauren Conrad in the upcoming season of The Hills. LC will be leaving the show later this month and Kristin will roll in bringing the drama with her thanks to her self-declared acting skills.

The reality starlet is ready to let loose saying; “I’m not going into it like, ‘I’m going to make great friendships with these people.’ It’s work! And drama sells. I think that’s why they’re bringing me in, because I know what works.” Kristin will make her first appearance on the May 31 season finale when she catches the bouquet at Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s wedding. The bad girl will appear in 10 episodes this fall.

Justin Timberlake has joined the list of repeat-hosts who always lift Saturday Night Live to a higher level of enjoyment. Timberlake's ability to be the coolest guy in the room without trying and without making all other guys hate him for it, is an extremely rare talent. Equally refreshing is seeing a star of his magnitude not afraid to make fun of himself, an ability that paved the way for this grainy sketch.

Timberlake was all over the show on Saturday night, singing and acting in everything from current recurring sketches (in drag as "Peg," he perked up Kristen Wiig's Target store bit) to musical numbers (playing keyboards during Ciara's performance of "Sex Love Magic"), and reviving oldies (he and Jimmy Fallon popped up for another episode of "The Barry Gibb Talk Show").

The talk of the town was when Timberlake and Andy Samberg did a Mother's Day-themed sequel to their "D--- In A Box" digital short. This skit once again managed to make vulgarity witty, as their dorky-hipster characters hymned mothers they'd like to -- well I think you know. This was one for the MILF's in the SNL audience, complete with cameos by Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson as Mothers.

Timberlake also had time in the show to admit to sleeping with ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. During one of the comedy sketches, the 28-year-old Sexyback singer poked fun at himself by playing a fictitious ancestor of his, a immigrant Cornelius Timberlake. He predicted the future saying, “I’d like to think that at first, he’ll date a popular female singer (Spears). Publicly, they’ll claim to be virgins. But privately, he hit it. ” He continued joking: “Then, he’ll make love with women so beautiful and so often that it won’t be enough for him and he’ll, I don’t know, try some stuff with guys. I mean, he’ll be straight! Forget that part! Everything is true except that part!” Finally" saying, "I dream of a day when my great-great-grandson will bring sexy back."

Bravo! returns to the world of fashion world with its latest smash hit, The Fashion Show which premiers tonight, 10 p.m. ET. Fifteen professional young designers will compete to market and sell their own lines. But, in a twist, members of the studio audience vote each week, determining who will continue on in the competition, following a runway show where someone will be eliminated. And the ultimate winner will be determined by home audiences after a live season finale. Each week the designers will be put to the test and will have to face off in two challenges – the Harper's Bazaar Mini Challenge, judged by the magazine's Special Projects Director Laura Brown, and the elimination challenge which will feature a specific task –- and a guest judge. (Celebrity judges include designers Charlotte Ronson, Elie Tahari and Vivienne Tam). In the end, America will choose which contestant will have a clothing line available for retail and win the $125,000 prize.

Internationally acclaimed designer Isaac Mizrahi shares hosting duties with four-time Grammy Award-winning performer and actress Kelly Rowland. Mizrahi and Rowland will also serve as judges alongside fashion luminary and Senior Vice President of IMG Fashion, Fern Mallis. “I think what makes The Fashion Show so unique is that it’s the people’s decision, and not only that but it’s a real show for real people,” Kelly Rowland, commented.

Mallis is the creator of New York Fashion Week and a familiar figure to Project Runway viewers. She shares “This is coming from the consumer’s point of view — what they like, how it fits, how creative it is.” “The real truth is that no matter how fabulous any fashion show is, it doesn’t matter if people don’t wear and buy the clothes. Working with a cast of 15 up and coming designers on creating marketable and relatable designs was an eye-opener, and, at times, trying challenge for the judges”.

“I learned a great deal from hearing what the public had to say about clothes,” Mizrahi says. “Sometimes Kelly, Fern and I would say, ‘Oh, this is going to be in the Top 2′ – and then we’d be shocked when it wasn’t.” “One of the most difficult parts for me [is] when you’re standing in a room with designers who are clearly making mistakes and there’s nothing you’re allowed to say until the end,” Mizrahi continues. “The whole live audience part of it, I feel like made it so dramatic,” Mizrahi says. “There was Kelly reading things to these contestants, like ‘60% of the audience thinks that your dress looks like the inside of a wig.’” “The drama in the air — that was thick!”

It has just been confirmed that Evan Rachel Wood is joing HBO’s hit vampire series True Blood for two episodes. The actress is said to play a pivotal role of Sophie-Anne, the 500-year-old vampire Queen of Louisiana. Described as “charming, wily, ruthless and wise” the character has had relationships with many famous people in the last few centuries.

The episodes will air towards the end of the upcoming second season, but the character’s arc is rumored to extend even further if the third season for the series is renewed. True Blood fans only have to wait a little longer to get their vampire fix. As HBO announced that True Blood season two will premiere on June 14, just in time for the summer TV rut.

NBC has just announced that Friday Night Lights will be picked up for two more seasons. The network has finalized a deal for a 26-episode order -- two seasons of 13 episodes each -- of the critically lauded TV-produced drama about a Texas high school football team.

Stars Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton also are set to return. However, four of our favorite actors whose characters are graduating -- Minka Kelly, Zach Gilford, Taylor Kitsch and Adrianne Palicki -- are not expected to continue as regulars but will return for arcs. Kelly recently signed as the lead on the CW pilot "Body Politic."

Taylor Kitsch has signed a three-picture deal to play Gambit (AKA Remy LeBeau), in director Gavin Hood’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, staring Hugh Jackman. Wolverine opens nationwide on May 1, 2009.

Brittany Snow is caught on camera getting started on her brand new gig shooting the new Gossip Girl spin off series yesterday at the Sip-n-Pump gas station next to Neptune Restaurant in Malibu, Calif. Shooting just began on the new Gossip Girl spin-off, the highly-anticipated back story of Serena’s mom, played by Kelly Rutherford on the CW making this the first time Snow was scene on the film set. Snow is cast to play the 23 year old lead actress in the show, Lily Rhodes who is growing up in Los Angeles in the ’80s. The show will chronicle Lily’s “wildchild teenager” days, according to a release from the CW.

Also just announced was that former One Tree Hill star Matt Barr was cast as Keith van der Woodsen, a rich Malibu prince who is the love interest to Lily. “He will a wealthy Malibu scion named Keith van der Woodsen, who romances a young Lily Rhodes (Brittany Snow) during her brash teenage years. It’s rumored that Keith is Lily’s future husband since her married name is Lily van der Woodsen. Stay tuned for more dirt and behind the scenes glimpses at this soon to be hit TV show. It’s come to an end for one of The Hills cast as Lauren Conrad has just confirmed, spilling to Seventeen that she will be retiring from reality TV when the new season ends. Lauren Conrad tells Seventeen magazine that the pseudo-reality show's upcoming fifth season will be her last. “My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it’s still great,” she said. “I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, "This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.’"

Conrad breaks her silence on the heels of the release of the show's Season 5 trailer, which continues to focus on "The Hills'" very own Romeo and Juliet story: Will torn best friends LC and Heidi Montag ever braid each other's hair again? Also in the mix are a few new elements, including a hot bartender to tempt Montag's boyfriend, Spencer Pratt. We even see Pratt throwing punches, and Conrad telling Pratt's ex-buddy Brody Jenner, "After everything that's gone down, the two people who they [Pratt and Montag] burned are the only two people they have to call." The new season premiers March 30 on MTV. Can’t wait till then? This March a new drama series is being launched on NBC called “Kings”. From executive producer Michael Green comes a riveting new drama about a modern day monarchy. "Kings" is an inspiring exploration of young hero who rises to power in a modern-day kingdom. SPOTTED: Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) trading downtown Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) for some uptown elegance. It appears that Lively will have a new beau by the end of this season of Gossip Girl. Armie Hammer has been cast as European socialite Gabriel Serrano from abroad, who will wine and dine Serena.

According to Gossip Girl herself “The preliminary details on his steamy affair with Serena are as follows: Gabriel Serrano is a European socialite, a man unlike any Serena has dated before. Gabriel will actually be dating Serena's socialite pal, Poppy Lifton (Tamara Feldman), before he moves on to her. Sounds like a scandalous love triangle worthy of the Upper East Side - and his character's drama doesn't stop there.” Armie Hammer will appear on three episodes toward the end of Season Two. Initially, the new beau will sweep her off her feet, but eventually the relationship takes a sinister turn.

Gossip Girl will also be introducing several other characters to the Upper East Side as the show heads further into the second season. There’s Nate’s (Chase Crawford) super-rich cousin Tripp Vanderbilt and his fiancée, Maureen, who will be played by Aaron Tveit and Holley Fain, respectively. Armie Hammer’s arrival on Gossip Girl will reportedly pave the way for the season-ending storyline the show is planning, which is loosely inspired by actress Anne Hathaway’s controversial romance with Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri. The rumors can be put to rest as Gossip Girl spin off is confirmed. The CW has announced that a pilot for a spin-off series, created by GG executive producers, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, is on the way. According to an early plot description, we'll see what happened way back when. The show will actually be a prequel, focusing on Serena's momma, Lily Van Der Woodsen (Kelly Rutherford) an original story about Lily van der Woodsen's scandalous teen years growing up in the 1980s. A new actress will play teenage Lily , who moves in with her black-sheep sister after a falling-out with her folks, going from a ritzy Montecito, Calif., boarding school to a public school in the San Fernando Valley in the process."Caught between two worlds, Lily dives into the fast-paced Sunset Strip and the Hollywood lifestyle of the '80s, journeying over the hill to a world of wealth and excess that used to be her own." And eventually she'll meet a young Rufus Humphrey, who will at some point impregnate her. "

We didn't want to upset the chemistry of our cast—all of whom are crucial to the show," Savage commented when asked about their reasoning for creating a show that won't require the presence of Gossip Girl's main cast to make sense. "Nor did we want to dilute New York City as a character." "We are inspired by the opportunity to tell overlapping stories and introduce characters that will appear in the past and the present—and hopefully enrich both shows," added Schwartz. "We love exploring fashion, pop culture, music and a heightened world that's just a little more fun than the one we actually live in. L.A. in the '80s totally fits the bill."

The pilot, which is still untitled and hasn't been cast, will air on May 11 in place of a Gossip Girl episode; the spin-off has not yet been green lit as a full series. Originally, there had been rumors that producers would center a spin-off on Jenny Humphrey (Taylor Momsen), but those rumblings were quickly put to rest. By choosing to do a prequel, Gossip Girl doesn't have to deal with the loss of any of its talented ensemble. Stay tuned for more to come-xoxo.

The brand new MTV reality series starring Whitney Port "The City" premieres tonight, December 29 at 10p.m. ET/9p.m. Central. Whitney Port is bringing "The Hills" to the Big Apple. If reports are true, Whit has left her gig with People¹s Revolution and landed a job in New York at a major fashion house as part of their in-house public relations team and MTV is catching it all for her new unscripted series.

Shooting started on the Whitney Port project on August 27, and she started her new job this past Tuesday so expect to see a lot of drama as she make the shift from the LA Hills to "The Hills" New York City-based spin-off, set to premiere on MTV later this year.

When the rumors first emerged about the possible spin-off Port told US Weekly: "As far as I know, I've just been filming for a fourth season of The Hills, everything is just kind of hearsay at this point. The thought of [my own] reality show sounds scary because I've always tried to keep things a little bit private. I just have to take everything day by day!"

The kids hung out all night in the Don Julio VIP room including on-and-off-screen couple Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Taylor Momsen, Ed Westwick and Jessica Szhor.

Spotted the cast of Gossip Girl getting a little lesson in culture from the big city. The whole gang was relocated from their usual cozy nest in the Hamptons to the hustle and bustle of Manhattan's Chinatown district on Tuesday.

OMFG it appears that Blake Lively hair has gotten away from her. Lively was scene sporting a super volumized doo while she carried pet pooch Penny in between takes on the set.

Taylor Momsen was nearby looking cute as a button toting a ‘police tape’ bag. Along with Tinsley Mortimer both cast mates were shooting scenes downtown as well.

This past weekend, the whole Gossip Girl cast had quiet the reward as they took home a massive six surfboards from the 2008 Teen Choice Awards.

The hit CW show Gossip Girl leads the pack for this year’s Teen Choice Awards with a whopping 14 “choice” nominations, including TV show drama, and TV breakout show. While male lead cast members Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley will battle it out for the title of TV actor drama. Actress Blake Lively sits alone up for female hottie.

Among the musicians up for honors are Chris Brown, snagged the next most nods – nine, including one for his hit single, “With You.” But will he be able to break Justin Timberlake record of Teen Choice icon, taking home 21 of the event’s trophies? (a surfboard since 1998). This year Timberlake is nominated for three: Choice Male Artist, Choice Hook-up with Madonna, and Choice Music Single for “4 Minutes” with Madonna.

Miley Cyrus will host Fox’s “Teen Choice 2008” awards show and she received four nominations: choice TV actress, comedy; choice TV comedy; choice music, single; and choice music: female artist. Trouble is back on One Tree Hill and this time it's not K-Fed.

Tonight OTH gets a visit from the past when conniving redhead Rachel (actress Danneel Harris - What I Like About You) returns to the hit series to add a shot of drama, CW style.

Danneel was recently spotted at the Armani Exchange on Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles pulling pieces for an upcoming Esquire photoshoot.

But if you can't wait you can check Danneel out in this months issue of Maxim Magazine where it's Deja Vu all over again for hottie actress Danneel Harris.

Not only is Danneel Harris taking a trip down memory lane on the CW hit One Tree Hill, but she also appears in this months issue of Maxim Magazine - heating up the pages in a black loungwear. OTH fans may remember Danneel graced the cover of Maxim Magazine last March 2007.

But this March it looks like Danneel is giving new meaning to "coming in like a lion and out like a lamb".

Source close to the Hills - both One Tree and Hollywood have - told us that Harris is set to appear in the comedy Harold and Kumar 2 - Escape from Guantanamo Bay. This sequel to Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, is set to release at the end of March 2008, and also stars: Eric Winter, Adam Herschman, David Krumholtz, Eddie Kaye Thomas, and Brandon Routh.

The New York Giants crushed the New England Patriots' perfect season last night with a stunning 17-14 Super Bowl win. G-Men fans rejoiced in the streets of Times Square after the victory and everyone was impressed with quarterback Eli Manning's performance.

Well the CW Gossip Girl series may be a show based on the heightened reality of Upper Eastsiders dealing with the daily drama of life in (and mostly out) of the their NYC prep school but now you may get your chance to share your dirty little secrets of city life school.

According to a very “in-the-know” Manhattan hipster there very flier being handed out all over the city this week announcing a casting call for a reality based show: “Are you the real Gossip Girl? Maybe an adorable Seth Cohen (The O.C.) prepster who hates TV? Either way, we’d love to chat with you. We’re looking for NYC prep-schoolers for a reality show [to air on] a major youth-oriented network.”

This may be one way to fill the void as writers continue to strike but they “network” may run into a little interference since most of the city’s hotspots would never allow cameras, crews and wannabes to set-up shop in their super-cool clubs. Maybe that’s why the casting is being held in Brooklyn on January 3. Hmmmm

It is rumored that MTV producers are looking to bring a little beach to the hills.

According to E! former Laguna Beach “it” girl Kristin Cavallari is set to make an appearance on spin-off series “The Hills”.

Well this may only be one of the TV options for Kristen. She was spotted inside the NBC Universal building on Tuesday for a casting meeting for Lipstick Jungle (the new NBC dramedy starring Lindsay Price, Brooke Shields and Kim Raver).

In other acting news, Miss Cavallari has two projects coming out in 2008. The first is “Spring Breakdown,” in which Krusten co-stars with “SNL” veterans Rachel Dratch (who co-wrote the flick) and Amy Poehler, Parker Posey and Amber Tamblyn. Spring Breakdown is a comedy about girlfriends that have missed out on their high school spring break because they were losers but make up for lost time with college spring break.

The second is Fingerprints, where Kristen co-stars in this indie psychological thriller with Brittany Snow in a movie about a girl, just out of a rehab, moves back in with her family and gets involved in an investigation of what has paralyzed residents.

Well you can that Lauren Conrad isn’t too happy about the upcoming “mudslide” of mixing the “Beach” and “Hills” double threat. A source told Star Magazine “She’s threatened to walk away, she feels as if The Hills was created around her and that she made it what it is today. She hated how she was depicted on Laguna Beach.”

On that MTV reality show "Laguna Beach", the Lauren and Kristen were in constant battle over Stephen Colletti (One Tree Hill). While LC is single (but rumored to be dating Kristen’s ex Brody Jenner), Kristin is dating actor Nick Zano.

Allegedly things aren’t always what they seem on the “Hills”. Guest, dining at Da Silvano on Tuesday night, are voicing their skepticism, about how “real” is the reality show.

LC was spotted at Da Silvano with friends (Whitney Port and Laguna Beach’s Trey Phillips) three camera crews in tow to capture their every move. Rumors are buzzing that the crew took three takes just to get Laurens entree order and once the cameras stopped rolling, The hardest working girl in Hollywood was complaining about the pressures of having to work a five day work week.

Well all her work is paying off Monday’s season premiere of The Hills was a ratings success - averaging over 3.6 million viewers.

Fake it till you make it…

According to TV reports Desperate Housewives has added a gay storyline to spice up this season on Wisteria Lane. Actors Tuc Watkins (One Life to Live) and Kevin Rahm (Judging Amy) have been cast as Desperate Housewives first gay couple.

This from TVGUIDE: “Watkins will play Bob, described as a country mouse who leaves the big city for greener (and quieter) pastures. Rahm is his bitchy partner, Lee. Both roles are of the recurring variety.”

Trivia: the characters’ names are a tribute to ABC News’ Bob Woodruff and his wife Lee, whom series creator Marc Cherry befriended last spring.

The girls of The Hills are back for another season, but not before causing some drama at the shows premiere party. According to reports the shows “star” Lauren Conrad refused to attend the premiere party last Wednesday if former friend/roommate Heidi Montag and her boyfriend Spencer Pratt attended. So producer juggled he divas with Heidi and Spence coming and hour early and then escorted out to make way for LC.

With the upcoming season 3 premiere of The Hills just days away, the docudrama is getting a little more drama in the mix. The entire cast is out and about making promotional appearances to hype up the show and set the record straight about frenemies LC and Heidi Montag “mean girls” attitudes.

In retaliation for LC’s recent “tell-all” interview in last weeks in Us Weekly, shomance lovebirds Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are using their 15minutes to bash series star Lauren Conrad.

Yesterday Spencer and Heidi were on Philadelphia’s Q102 The Booker Show and they ripped on LC.

Here is a bit of what went down:

Pratt: “When the cameras are off Lauren is a completely different person…she goes back to being the spoiled brat that made her famous on Laguna Beach…excuse me…the famous Boyfriend stealer. The funny thing to me is that she says we use her for attention…when she is the one in US Weekly this week talking about Heidi and I for 6 pages…talk about a desperate loser that needs to get her own relationship to worry about OR TALK ABOUT…I mean this girl has not had one functional relationship in her whole life and she is going to try and tell Heidi how to live her life and relationships – HA! The LC is a pathetic wannabe fashion designer…who can’t even dress herself.

I guess the baby that screams the loudest get the most attention. Well if you want to let Spencer know how much you what him to SHUT UP leave comments on his blog/message board at spencerpratt.com.

Season 3 of The Hills kicks off on August 13.

As we learned from Paris and Nicole things don’t get good until they get really bad. The same is ringing true for the MTV stars of “The Hills” - EXBFF"s Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag. Reports are saying things are so bad between the two young stars that they even refuse to be photographed together. For the Season 3 promo shots, LC and the rest of the cast shot their photos together, while Heidi posed for hers on a different day and was added into the group shots later.

Britney Spears may actually take time off from looking for her next “hit” to work on a Saturday night. There are loose reports that Britney may host Saturday Night Live in the months to come. Ms. Spears is hoping to release her new CD before the end of the year and her appearance on SNL – (Saturday Night Lip-synching) may be the springboard to the launch.

Nicole Richie will be sitting down with Diane Sawyer for an interview that will air on Good Morning America on August 2 and 3 and on 20/20 August 3. This will be her first tv appearance since the rumors of her pregnancy surfaced. Stay tuned...

It is rumored that the orginal female rappers are reuniting on a well-documented ten-part reality show "The Salt 'N' Pepa Show for VH1, airing this fall.

On “The Salt ‘N Pepa Show,” VH1 follows the two ladies around as they attempt to reunite on and off the stage. However, get their fame back is easier said than done since most of their past issues are still unresolved. Stay tuned....

Styletraxx has learned that Mary-Kate Olsen is returning acting and starring in the "edgy" Showtime comedy – drama Weeds.

According to Weeds series creator and executive producer Jenji Kohan:

"'Weeds' isn't your 8 o'clock family fare”. "It's an adult show with adult subject matter, and we're confident Mary-Kate is right for the role. She came in and read with Hunter and was absolutely charming and real and seemed like a great fit. Audiences have seen only one side of Mary-Kate, but here we'll see her in a whole new light."

MK will play Tara, a devoted Christian girl living in the newly developed mega-church community Majestic who becomes a love interest for Nancy Botwin's (Mary-Louise Parker) son Silas (Hunter Parrish). Weeds third season will premiere August 13 and look for MK to appear in 10 of the 15 episodes.

The Hills stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are engaged, no doubt frenemy Lauren Conrad will not be attending the wedding!

Eric (yes the guy from the Britney “Curious” perfume commercial) has recently signed a one-year talent holding deal with 20th Century Fox Television. This season he has appeared in a recurring role as the gay brother of Senator Robert McCallister and love interest of Matthew Rhys' character, Kevin Walker on the ABC drama Brothers & Sisters. He is also among the cast of the upcoming CBS series Viva Laughlin, set for a premiere during fall 2007.

Beyoncé is set to compete in six categories in the Black Entertainment Television Awards. She has the most nominations for awards such as best female R&B artist, video of the year, and best collaboration with her boy Jay-Z. Also, her collaboration with Shakira, “Beautiful Liar” was nominated for video of the year.

With the success of MTV’s reality show “the Hills” which follows it star Lauren Conrad around as she interns at Teen Vogue, attends college and hits the LA club scene – it’s amazing that LC can stay so grounded.

The show has never had a shortage of drama and season two showed that enemies are easily disguised as friend – that would be frenemies in LA.

LC’s ex-roommate Heidi Montag and boy toy Spencer Pratt were allegedly responsible for leaking rumors about a sex tape featuring Conrad and her ex-boyfriend, Laguna Beach star Jason Wahler. But LC continue to see things in a postive light.

According to CanWest News:

“It’s pretty hurtful when people use your misfortune to get press,” says Conrad.

“I have great family and friends that love me and know what really happens, and that’s all that matters,” Conrad shrugs. “People are always going to make up talk, so you really just can’t let it phase you. I mean, it obviously hurts and it’s really hard to deal with, but I’ve kind of learned to let it go.”

“I think I come out pretty normal but I think I behave a little more on camera. When fans come up to you, a lot of them are little girls and that’s a really good reminder that you are responsible for what kids are looking up to. You don’t want some of your behavior - that may be acceptable for a 21 year old - to been seen as cool by younger girls.”

And it’s that kind of attitude that makes LC stand above the rest and be the perfect role “model” for Mac Cosmetics – they’ve recently hired her to be featured in an upcoming ad.

It looks like MTV is bringing back the California Girl hot The Hills - greenlighting a third season of the reality show with a 10-episode order, set to debut in the summer.

"The Hills," which was spun off of MTV's "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," centers around Lauren Conrad, who works as an intern at Teen Vogue while attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, and her group of “friends”.

However, that may not be the only camera time Ms. MTV reality star Lauren Conrad has been filming. Allegedly, there is a sex-tape floating around with Loran and former boyfriend, beautiful disaster Jason Wahler. If you recall, Styletraxx reported that Wahler has been arrested three times in the last twelve months - recently sentenced to serve time.

Word is that Jason is trying to sell the tape before he take his Prision Break and L.C. is freaking OUT….

Jessica Smith, ex-star of MTV's reality show "Laguna Beach, was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs after allegedly causing an injury crash on the Santa Ana Freeway. Smith is being held in an Orange County jail with her bail set at $100,000. Smith is due in court this morning. If you recall, Styletraxx reported a few weeks ago that Smith's ex-boyfriend, Laguna Beach & Hills star Jason Wahler had run into trouble with the law as well.

Two weeks ago, MTV began taping "Total Request Live" two days a week in an effort to save money. After live shows air Monday and Wednesday afternoons, shows are then taped for the following day.

Two New York-based artists (Clifton Mallery and wife Amnau Karam Eele) sued NBC Universal and the creators of the network's superhero drama "Heroes" in U.S. district court this week. The suit was filed on Thursday in Manhattan claiming that "Heroes" plot line -- about an artist who can paint the future -- was based on a short story film and painting series that the couple exhibited in 2004 and 2005.

Brooke Shields was spotted in NYC this week filming scenes for her new TV show, Lipstick Jungle, based on the Candace Bushnell (Sex and the City author) book of the same name. Lipstick Jungle is about women behaving badly in the power soaked, money hungry, self obsessed jungle that is New York City.

The show will premiere later this year on NBC.

FX announced Monday that Aniston will guest-star in the season finale of "Dirt," which is scheduled for Tuesday, March 27. She'll play a character named Tina Harrod, the editor of a rival magazine to Lucy Spiller's (Cox) DirtNow. The guest spot will be Aniston's first TV role since "Friends" ended its run on NBC in 2004, as well as the first time she and Cox have worked together since then. "Dirt," which also stars Ian Hart, Josh Stewart and Laura Allen, is averaging 3 million viewers over its first two episodes. Tune in 10 pm on FX Tuesdays.
