JESSICA SZOHR GETS LUCKY IN APRIL

LUCKY%20APRIL.jpg
Jessica Szohr looks breathtaking on the cover of Lucky magazine’s April 2010 issue, on newsstands this week. Jessica Szohr still considers herself a fashion novice, despite being on one of TV's most trendsetting series. "I'm learning more and more about clothes and designers from being a part of Gossip Girl and living in New York," explains the 25-year-old.

Here’s what the 25-year-old Gorgeous Gossip Girl had to share with lucky readers:

On being inspired by Old Hollywood:

“The 1950 film All About Eve shows classic Old Hollywood, when women put so much detail into getting ready.”

On her fashion evolution:

“I’m learning more and more about clothes and designers from being a part of Gossip Girl and living in New York. In fittings now, I’m like, ‘I love that Diane von Furstenberg skirt or this Rag & Bone jacket,’ whereas before, I wouldn’t have recognized the labels.”

On her love of menswear:

“At Confederacy in L.A., it’s hard to know where to begin: It has great coffee-table books, an incredible shoe collection, and a men’s section that I shop in for myself.”

LEVI JOHNSTON (UN)COVER FOR PLAYGIRL MAGAZINE

LEVI-PLAYGIRL-COVER.jpg
It's been a while since Levi Johnston caused mass excitement but it’s about that time. Levi Johnston's long-awaited Playgirl cover has finally been released, and the caribou hunter-turned-aspiring model/actor does live up to his promise and appear nude, but with one notable exception: He covers himself below the waist. In the shoot inside the baby daddy uses a hockey glove to keep him from going Full Johnston. Last October, Johnston's lawyer said his client was getting prepared for the close-up by training three hours a day, six nights a week at an Anchorage gym with a local body builder.

The article is titled "Levi Johnston Goes Rogue," and the pictorial also includes an interview with Johnston, 19, who has a 1-year-old son, Tripp, with Bristol Palin, 19, the daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. In the interview portion of the spread, Johnston discusses his tumultuous relationship with the Palins, as well as being a new dad

The tastefully done Playgirl's debut re-launch issue is available for purchase on February 22, and for those who haven't had their fill of Johnston, a pay-per-view special of Johnston from Playgirl airs on cable Feb. 12.

KEIRA KNIGHTLEY COVER ELLE MAGAZINES MARCH 2010

Keira-Knightley-Elle-Magazine-March-2010-Cover-Photo.jpg
Keira Knightley strikes a pose on the cover of Elle magazine’s March 2010 issue, on newsstands Tuesday, February 16. In the issue the cover girl talks about criticism, her upcoming projects, and the importance of honesty.

On her character in The Misanthrope:

“Jennifer’s kind of a crazy mix of being a complete b—- - confident and terrifying - yet she’s incredibly young and is probably being exploited way more than she actually realizes.”

On criticism of her acting:
“Oh, they still say that! Every time I do an interview with the English press, one of their questions is, ‘How do you feel knowing that everyone thinks you’re a s— actress?’”

Keira On Her Upcoming Film Last Night:
“When we were making it, the arguments on set were just amazing about whether mental infidelity is better or worse than physical infidelity. There was a huge gender divide on the question. Every single woman said that mental infidelity is 10 times worse than [an emotionless assignation]. And most men I spoke with said that it’s the physical act that would be the ultimate betrayal.”

On surrounding herself with people who will tell her the truth:
“You have to be selective about the people whose advice and opinions you take. I know [my parents] would never tell me I was s— because they were trying to hurt me. It would always come from a very sincere place.”

Keira’s Elle hits newsstands Feb. 16 in the meantime check out Elle.com for more photos and the complete article.

Bella and Edward's Bazaar Cover

robert-pattinson-kristen-stewart-1209-05-de.jpg

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are featured on the cover of Harper's Bazaar December issue. Not only do these two have great chemistry on the big screen, but they seem to be steaming up the lens behind the scenes of this spread.
Kristen apparently has a unique name for Rob for his athletic skills - Flippy. When asked who is more athletic, she says, “I’m definitely claiming that one. Rob can barely jump rope. I call him Flippy because when he does his stunt rehearsals, he flips around [makes gestures like a penguin]. And God, when he tries to run…”

Rob mentions "She's a unique girl. You don't really many people like Kristen."
When asked which one may be more of the Romancer, Stewart says, "I have a no-bullsh*t detector, so I'd have to say Rob is. I think romance is anything honest. As long as it's honest, it's so disarming."

This issue finds the two laying in roses as well as Kristen holding on tight as Rob jump starts the bike. So if you need more evidence that these two aren't anything but glued to each other, grab the new issue of Harper's Bazaar on November 17th. In the meantime, check out their video.

Zac Efron covers November’s 2009 Nylon Guys. The “next king of the silver screen” according to Nylon, Zac turns 22 this Sunday. Happy Birthday to the Zac Attack.

This month also features the release of the Richard Linklater-directed Me and Orson Welles, in which Efron plays an aspiring thespian who, by a series of fortunate events, is thrown into the iconic director’s infamous production of Julius Caesar, which was the first Shakespeare play ever staged on Broadway.

NYLON Guys went sailing with Efron in Vancouver to talk about his transition from Disney pin-up to serious actor. Check out a sneak peek of the article below:

On his new movie, Me and Orson Welles:

"It’s the first time I’ve ever watched a movie [that I’m in] and in the end I’m like, ‘OK! I didn’t check my watch once!’”

On whether celebrity albums are necessary:

“If anyone asked themselves that, then we wouldn’t have the crap we are listening to today. If your heart’s not in it, don’t do it. And don’t do it for money. That’s my philosophy.”

On his Disney fame:

“I try not to look at all of it. You can’t enjoy or celebrate it; it’s not a real thing. The face on the lunchbox and s— —you can’t share that with your friends.”

On growing up around music:

“I was constantly singing. I would hear things on the radio and just be able to spit them out instantly, with perfect memorization and tone. It wasn’t like I took pride in it; there was no effort. My parents were like ‘Shut up. Please stop singing. It’s annoying.’”

Me and Orson Welles opens in theaters on Friday, November 25th. But if you need more Efron before then, check our more Zac pics from his cover shoot at NylonGuysMag.com.

The The 29-year-old actress also joked about her recent embarrassing moment when she looked like she lived in Zit City on the Pasadena set of her new Disney comedy, You Again. “I had these [red dots] done yesterday, and last night I did not wash my arms with soap – I’ll come right out and say it – because they wash off only with soap,” Kristen told the LA Times. “So I washed my face and I just sort of rinsed my body. ANNA PAQUIN STEAMS UP SEPTEMBER FOR NYLON MAGAZINE

anna-paquin-nylon-2.jpg
Breakout star Anna Paquin takes the September Cover of Nylon Magazine. The Oscar winning starlet chats about her hit show "True Blood," being blonde and...sex.

Check out some of the highlights below:

On her new blonde hair color:

“I don’t look like a Barbie doll, and probably never will. People are incredibly literal in how they view you. You have dark hair and pale skin? You must be brooding. The second you dye your hair blonde and get a spray tan, people treat you as if you’re a bit stupider and happier. Suddenly, it’s like you’re hot and sexy.”

On doing nude scenes in ‘True Blood’:

“I don’t think a naked body is particularly shocking or interesting… It’s not the culture I was raised in. I was not brought up in the United States. I don’t share the [attitude] that you can have graphic violence, but – God forbid – you see someone’s nipples.”

On taking her bra off during sex:

“It’s like, I’m sorry, maybe there are a lot of women who keep their bras on while they have sex... I don’t happen to be one of them.”

On TV vs. Movies:

“It never occurred to me that one form of acting was better than another. I think if you approach your career like that you’re limiting yourself to a very boring path. For me, it’s about the material.”

Anna’s on-and-off-screen lover Stephen Moyer also had a few words about vampire sex: “The thing about vampirism is that it taps into a female point of view – you have an old-fashioned gentleman with manners who is a f—ing killer… it’s an interesting duality, because in our present society it would be an odd thing for a woman to say, ‘I want my man to be physical with me.’ How, as a modern man, can you f—ing work that? It’s one thing to be polite and gentle… But when do you know it’s OK to crawl out of the mud and rape her [as Bill does in one scene]?… It’s difficult stuff for a bloke, but a vampire gets away with it…. I think that’s the attraction of the show – it’s looking back at a romantic time when men were men, but they were still charming.”

AMANDA SEYFRIED COVERS ALLURE THIS SEPTEMBER

masl10_seyfried.jpg
Despite the 23 year old college dropout’s quick rise to fame, Amanda Seyfried has a realistic attitude when it comes to dealing with life in Hollywood. The Mean Girls star spent her childhood modeling, studied opera, and worked alongside Meryl Streep. She's even presented at the Academy Awards with Robert Pattinson. This young face has experienced success and failures. The actress opened up to Allure magazine about her recurring anxiety attacks, her breakout role in "Mean Girls," and how Tinseltown is one big high school cafeteria.

The star of the upcoming "Jennifer's Body" is candid about the things she doesn't like about herself; among them her stubby nails and roller-coaster emotions, the latter of which leads to anxiety attacks at the most inopportune moments. “I suffer from anxiety attacks a lot,” she explained. “Like, the other day, I had an attack in the middle of a relaxing massage: My head was just spinning, and I felt nauseous! I was saying to myself, Just don’t make a scene! Finish this massage, or you’re going to be really annoyed with yourself.” It's anxiety, however, that Amanda says gives her acting an edge.

She goes on to describe Hollywood in terms of a popularity contest. “Hollywood is just like high school: The popular people love the other popular people. And the thing is, some people aren’t nice,” she said hesitantly. “Or they are nice, but only to your face, not elsewhere." Amanda is quick to point out that she's not innocent of girl crimes either. “I do my fair share of judging when I see certain women on the covers of magazines. I think, Why is she on the cover? But then I try to think, Oh, wow — she really does look good."

Check out more from Amanda in the latest issue of Allure, on newsstands August 25.

Ps. Amanda’s latest thriller Jennifer’s Body, co-starring Megan Fox, opens everywhere on Friday, September 18.

TOM BRADY HEATS UP DETAILS SEPTEMBER 2009 COVER

Tom-Brady-DETAILS-September.jpg
Hot off the presses in more ways than one, the September issue of Details magazine features the sexy Tom Brady showing off his best bedroom eyes and sizzling up the pages in tight leather. The recently married quarterback opens up about married life to VS superstar Gisele, life with the paparazzi, and his little bundle of joy.

On being set-up on a blind date with Gisele:

“This friend told me he knew a girl version of me.” (Gisele chimes in, “And he said to me he’d found a boy version of me.”)

On modeling being harder than playing football:

“When I’m out on the football field, I have so much confidence in what I’m doing. With [the modeling], I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m at the whim of the photographer and the crew.”

On life and having a child out of wedlock:

“That’s not how you envisioned your life, that’s not how you envisioned having children, but it happens. Life is not living in the suburbs with a white picket fence. That’s not life. Somehow our American culture has made it out that that’s what life needs to be—and that if it’s not that, it’s all screwed up. It’s not. You go through life and you try the best you can.”

The issue hits stands next week but if you can’t wait till then, read Tom’s full cover feature at Details.com.

HUNTER PARRISH IS FEATURED IN AUGUST GQ

00006f.jpg
Weeds star Hunter Parrish is featured in the pages of GQ’s August 2009 edition. GQ writes in the article that “On Weeds, Hunter Parrish plays Mary-Louise Parker’s oldest son Silas, an attention-deprived kid who follows his mom into the cultivation business, beds desperate housewives and has the kind of unblemished good looks that exist only in the safety of television. While In real life, the 21-year-old actor has never smoked pot, dates girls his own age, and has the vocal chops to moonlight in Broadway musicals”

Check out some of what the 22-year-old actor had to say:

You’re often shirtless on Weeds. Is that in your contract?

It’s not contractual, it’s just where my storyline is. I had to show my butt last season for the first time. And I had a hard time deciding whether to do it—we didn’t decide until the morning of the shoot… I called my parents and I was like, “Are you guys going to disown me if I do this?” I don’t make all my decisions by them but it was nice to hear that they were supportive and clued-in.

I heard that you were offered the Zac Efron part in High School Musical. True?

That is definitely a rumor but it was really, really close. It was down to five guys and then I got offered a part in this amazing Robin Williams movie. And I thought to myself: fly to Vancouver and meet the director for this Robin Williams movie, or stay and finish the auditions for the Disney Channel movie? So I didn’t even go to the last audition. I heard a rumor that I was their favorite, but I never made it to the end. I mean I would have had a blast doing it. But I’m so happy for Zac, he’s the only guy for that.

Didn’t you kick the crap out of him onscreen in 17 Again?

Yes. That was kind of awesome.

Read Hunter’s full interview at GQ.com. And new episodes of Weeds air on Mondays @ 10PM ET/PT on Showtime.

KATHERINE HEIGL STUNS ON INSTYLE AUGUST COVER

instyle-magazine-august-2009-katherine-heigl.jpg
Katherine Heigl graces the August 2009 cover of InStyle. The Actress let the magazine in on her secret that she has no regrets when it comes to speaking her mind.

Here’s what the 30-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress opened up about:

On meeting her husband, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley:

“I was fed up with trying to be somebody else and got really lucky and met a great guy who loved me for me. It’s hard—I think women have to struggle to define themselves, to find what they want. I keep telling my friends, seriously, write down what you want and make it specific. Like, I’m talking, do you want a beach house in Venice? Be specific and be creative and define not only what you want in your career but what you want in your personal life.”

On family tragedies—her brother’s death in 1986 and her mother’s battle with breast cancer:

“Here’s the deal: This is what my family and I have been through, and although we’re not perfect, we are survivors. [My siblings and I] were taught to overcome—although that’s not the right word because you don’t really overcome that kind of stuff, but you do learn to live with it and you learn to live despite it… No one in my family ever said, ‘Life’s not worth living because this happened or that happened to me.’ It’s always worth living. And living well.”

On being criticized last summer for saying the Grey’s Anatomy material she’d been given to work with wasn’t Emmy-worthy:

“Now I’ve got this moniker that I’m the foot-in-the-mouth gal, and I keep thinking, In what way? Because I said something you don’t agree with? Because I said something you don’t like? I’m just telling you my opinion. I hate the idea that I can’t be honest about how I feel about things because it’s going to piss somebody off who feels differently. That seems preposterous to me.”

“It’s one thing when you have an infant, but when you have this two-or three-year-old going, ‘Mommy, what’s the deal?’ it’s harder. Kingston’s whole thing is, ‘I need, I need.’ He is insane right now. We’re just hoping for the best and that he’s not going to turn out to be a freak, but we’ll see.”

On celebrity:
“Obviously, I’m not anything more than I am. I’m just, like, totally normal. The fact that any of this has happened, that we’re sitting here at the Beverly Hills Hotel just gets me going, like, What?”

On leaving No Doubt:
“Everybody’s making it like there’s all this new tension, you know, like I stepped away from the band and now they’re jealous of me, and look, maybe there is a little bit of that.”

On how her priorities changed from band to family:
“I wasn’t even married. Now I’m a wife and a mother of two. It’s a really different role. I always referred to No Doubt as a marriage, because that’s what it’s like to be together for so long and go through what we’ve been through. I can’t really have that relationship with them anymore. My priorities are always going to be my husband and my family now. That’s a huge, huge thing.”

CAMERON DIAZ DAZZLES MARIE CLAIRE COVER IN JULY

cameron-diaz-marie-claire-july-2009.jpeg
Cameron Diaz looks dazzling in denim on the July 2009 cover of Marie Claire. The starlet talked about both her new movie, My Sister's Keeper, and the activism that's made her one of the most eco-friendly celebs. She also took a gal from the magazine along as she produced a short, exclusive video- about what we can all do to help the planet, while also discussing her work, life, and fame. See below for a sneak peak at Cameron’s interview

On being comfortable with her fame: "I just have a lot of friends. That's how I think of it. It's nice to see people smile . . . Every once in a while, you'll have those moments when people give you the stink eye. And you're like, 'What the f*ck is your problem? What, am I horrific-looking?' But really what they're thinking is, Am I seeing who I think I'm seeing? It's just a shock . . . I don't have any problem with being famous. I've completely made peace with being recognizable and people wanting to peek into my life in some way."

On her early days: "I had the good fortune of becoming famous once I had already lived a life, traveled a lot, stood in line, had to ask people to help me, had to find a way to make something work, pay the rent, scrape by . . . I used to do $4 a day with a girlfriend. We would get two tacos and split a Coke."

On going green: “The planet needs a publicist. I had this cartoon in my head a couple of years ago when Paris Hilton was going to jail and Britney Spears was falling apart. There’s a woman at a desk talking to planet Earth, and she’s like, ‘I’m going to make you a star!” And it says, ‘But I’m a planet. And she’s like “No, I can tell, you’re going to be bigger than Paris and Britney. When I’m done with you, everyone’s going to know who you are! (laughs).

On making Mother Earth famous: “It’s the planet, you know what I mean? She should be the one - she should be a star. How do we make this little planet of ours a big star? I want everybody to know who she is.”

On this film project: "I was like, I'm going to get a camera, and I'm going to mobile-home it across the country, and I'm just going to find out what people are thinking. What would it take for the common person to become engaged. There's a lot of great minds out there who are thinking about this, who are coming up with solutions. Not to crash anybody's party, but to actually make the party better. Really, that's what it's about - that's my participation in it."

On finally fixing her nose after breaking it four times: “S— just finds my face - it’s crazy.” (She most recently injured it with a surfboard, and before that with her own knee.)

LAUREN CONRAD ON JULY 2009 COSMOPOLITAN COVER

cosmo-july-09.jpg
Lauren Conrad is sizzling on July’s cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine. Now that she is leaving The Hills, the 23-year-old reality star can finally let her hair down about the hills. Lauren tells Cosmopolitan magazine that "The Hills" producers kept pushing her into situations with Heidi. "It's hard to look at somebody who used to be your best friend and say, 'We can't be friends. Too much has happened,'" she tells the magazine. "I'm trying to move on, but they won't let me. And when someone keeps pushing you into the same position, well…you get upset."

As for her life outside the show, Lauren seems to be the most comfortable when she's with her boyfriend Kyle. The reality star also opened up about recent boyfriend, My Boys actor Kyle Howard. On her boyfriend being supportive of her she said “I have to be with someone I really trust who doesn’t want to hurt my feelings and who really wants me to be happy.” "I feel sexiest with him when I'm in sweatpants and no makeup." BFF and co-star Lo Bosworth adds that they make a cute couple: “They are really good together. Sometimes, it takes somebody who treats you right to show you there’s something else out there.”

It was recently reported that Lauren's former "Laguna Beach" costar Kristin Cavallari will be replacing her on "The Hills." "I've always had another season to look forward to, but now life is a little more unplanned," she says of leaving the show. "It's really exciting." MEGAN FOX GETS TO ACT FOR ESQUIRE

Megan_Fox_Esquire_2xxx1.jpg
The hype of Megan Fox appearing in Esquire’s June issue has already begun and we're in May. The Transformers star will be gracing the cover and making history as well. In an Esquire Magazine first, with the help of RedONE technology, the groundbreaking issue will introduce a cover shot and accompanying images of actress Megan Fox that were taken from frames from a ten minute video, rather than traditional still photographs. Rather than click an endless series of stills, photographer Greg Williams shot the cover with the 4K Red ONE video camera. Fox essentially acted out a scene for 10 minutes, the best moment of which will appear on the June 2009 cover.

According to Esquire, director-photographer Greg Williams recorded ten minutes of loosely scripted footage with Fox — getting out of bed, rolling around on a pool chair, inexplicably lighting a barbecue. So, she's moving freely while doing the photo shoot, and not posing? "It allowed her to act," Williams explained. "She could run scenes without being reminded by the sound of a shutter every four seconds that I was taking a picture. As in still photography, a lot of it is capturing unexpected moments. This takes that one step further." he added.

Check out the finished product in video on May 4 at esquire.com/Megan and in pictures beginning May 10 at newsstands everywhere. If you want more action from Megan Fox you don’t have to wait long as her next debut is due on June 24th 2009 in the Revenge of The Fallen. Catch a sneak peak of the hottie in the teaser below:

I’m glad everything happened the way it did."

NICOLE RICHIE GOES GLAM PUNK FOR BLACKBOOK

gallery_main-nicolerichie-nylon-magazine-photos-03202009-04.jpg
Perhaps you’ve heard Nicole Richie is an object of fascination. At 27, she is an icon of fashion and pop, while having the type of fame that doesn’t ever give up on her. The icon and mommy-to-be, is featured on the cover of April’s Blackbook magazine.

Going Glam punk for this shoot, Nicole is featured wearing a platinum blonde wig with edgy bangs on the cover. The clothing in the spread was a little more experimental than what we're used to for Nicole Richie. But she gladly shed her flower child style for eighties threads. Pregnant (with twins) Nicole appears to be channeling her best Lady GaGa in this spread as she wears a tempered version of Gaga's bubble dress over a spandex bodysuit and futuristic patent leather pumps. Check out a few snippets from the magazine’s interview with the expectant mom:

On her reality show The Simple Life: “Listen, I watch television. I know that things have to be entertaining or else people aren’t going to watch it. The producers were very clear about the characters they wanted us to be. We were fine with it.”

On not keeping up with celeb rags: “We don’t allow tabloids in our house, so we really don’t know about anything unless it is serious.”

On being married or engaged to Joel Madden: “I’ve never been engaged.”

This April issue is dedicated to music so inside you’ll also find bits on Lady Sovereign, Little Boots, Chairlift, PJ Harvey, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Ryan Adams, and more. Check out the full Nicole Richie article and a lot more at BlackBookMag.com.

ROBERT PATTINSON IS SMOKING ON APRIL 09 GQ COVER

00004f.jpg
Twilight star Robert Pattinson heats up the April 2009 cover of GQ Magazine. The interview took place in December -only weeks after Twilight made its debut and just long enough for it to gross more than $150 million. Also long enough for the studio to pull the trigger on the first of three potential sequels by replacing director Catherine Hardwicke with one of the guys responsible for the American Pie franchise. However, not long enough for Pattinson to grasp what any of these developments mean for him, or the importance of dissembling in the presence of reporters.

GQ reports that the 22 year-old arrives for the interview on a Tuesday afternoon at a little bakery-café on Doheny Drive in West Hollywood. Pattinson slides into his chair, dressed in head-to-toe black, with a weeks-old beard, hair crammed under a wool cap, looking like "Justin Timberlake researching an off-Broadway turn as Terry Malloy." His clothes apparently smell like he has recently purchased them off the back of someone less fortunate than he. The whole time, he seems to be telling the truth compulsively, heedlessly, helplessly, as if he’d been shot with a sodium pentothal (aka truth serum) dart while parking his car. He’s just come from a big-time meeting with a director and can’t wait to tell the reporter how weird it was. Some guy offering him a part, maybe, in a movie so double top secret he couldn’t tell Pattinson what it was about. “He wouldn’t say anything,” Pattinson says, “and he also wouldn’t leave,” so Pattinson sat there and talked about himself for three hours and drank enough coffee to make a rhino’s heart explode.

Check out some excerpts from the interview:

What Pattinson says about getting the part of Edward the vampire in Twilight:
“I took half a Valium and then went into this thing—and all this stuff happened.” He was on the verge of quitting acting, he says. He’d followed up what was, back then, the biggest role of his career—in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as Cedric Diggory, sort of the haughty blond Iceman to Harry’s Maverick—by getting fired from a play in London, where he grew up. He was in Los Angeles, crashing on his agent’s couch, looking for an American job.

On his rumored girlfriend:
“There’s literally not a single [true] story that could be written about me. I never do anything. There’s this thing about my supposed girlfriend. There’s this one girl who’s consistently mentioned. It’s like, ‘He’s dating this Brazilian model.’ What’s her name -Annelyse. I’ve never met her.”

On being romantically involved with Camilla Belle, who is dating Joe Jonas:
“That’s the funniest [rumor]. No. I mean, yeah, yeah, I’m friends with Camilla… It’s funny, though, because I met her at her place the other day, and there’s a security gate, and even the security woman—I guess she knows that Camilla lives there, and she was like, ‘Oooh!’ …I mean, Camilla’s the nicest—she’s a saint. And it’s funny that she’s being portrayed as this home wrecker. She’s literally the most unlikely person to be a home wrecker. It’s just ridiculous.”

On his new period film, Little Ashes, in which he plays a young Salvador Dali: “I thought I’d never get another acting job again. So I was like, ‘Yeah—why not try to do something weird?’ There’s all these gay sex scenes. And y’know, I haven’t even done a sex scene with a girl, in my whole career… And here I am, with Javier [Beltrán], who plays Lorca, doing an extremely hard-core sex scene, where I have a nervous breakdown afterward. And because we’re both straight, what we were doing seemed kind of ridiculous.”

Check out the full Pattinson article and photo’s at GQ.com. The issue hits stands in NY/LA on March 17th. Want to get Rob’s look? Check out his T-shirt, available at A|X

JESSICA SZOHR TAKES LUCKY MAGAZINE COVER

lucky-girl.jpg
Our favorite Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr graces the April 2009 cover of Lucky Magazine, which hits stands this Tuesday, March 10. The 23 year old actress plays the part of Vanessa on the CW show Gossip Girl and has also appeared in numerous television shows including That’s So Raven, Josh & Drake, What I Like About You, Uncle Nimo and the Daughtry music video 'Over You'.

When the starlett arrived at the Lucky’s Manhattan photo studio, it was clear that her tiny Lhasa Apso puppy, Watson, was very much at home in the limelight too, as he goes everywhere with Jessica, even to the famous TV show set. Puppies seems to be the new GG trend these days as, “Costars Blake Lively and Leighton Meester usually bring their dogs to work, so there are animals everywhere,” explained Szohr.

The gorgeous Wisconsin native is as relaxed about her personal style as she is about letting her dog rule the roost. She says “I’m a total thrift-store junkie and always have been,” she says. “Most of my closet is secondhand. I’m just now starting to add a few new designer pieces here and there.” For more on Jessica and a chance to win Jessica’s $3,500 cover outfit, visit Luckymag.com.

Ashley Tisdale graces the cover of Cosmopolitan April, 2009. The 23-year-old High School Musical starlet dished to cosmo about her second album “Guilty Pleasure,” boyfriend Jared Murillo and what’s next for her.

Check out the interview below:

On breaking out of the teen scene: “People see me as cute, but I’m so much more than that. I’m 23 and I’m growing up, I can’t be young forever.”

On her upcoming album, Guilty Pleasure: “It’s edgy. It’s an album to rock out to. It’s definitely sexier. I have a sexy side to me, but it’s more of a fun sexy. Sure, I’m a nice girl, but there’s also a part of me that wants to be rebellious.”

On her relationship with beau Jared Murillo from boy band V-Factory: “It’s a normal relationship. He’s a good person, but it took a while. I’m angsty because I’ve been screwed over a lot. But after a while, you realize you can’t carry the baggage. I would hope the ring would be bigger if I were engaged.”

TIME MAGAZINE: 10 QUESTIONS FOR GIORGIO ARMANI

ga10.jpg
Last month, Time Magazine asked its readers for questions they would like to ask international designer and legend Giorgio Armani as part of their '10 Questions' interview series. Featured below are the 10 chosen reader questions and answers from Mr. Armani:

#1 - How did you first get into fashion design? Haisam Younes SARASOTA, FLA.

It happened accidentally. I was doing my military service and I had 20 days off on vacation in Milan. A friend said, "Do you want to work for two weeks for a photographer in a department store?" and I said yes. I started assisting the photographer, designing the windows and things. Soon after that they asked me to oversee the fashion. And I thought, Why not? It was creative work. It involved teamwork. After a few years I realized that this was really what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

#2 - As a fashion designer, do you ever think that people worry too much about their appearance? Alyssa Goodman KING OF PRUSSIA, PA.

I should say, "We are never concerned enough with our appearance!" But it has become so important, how we look to others. Sometimes it is too much. We can be fine in life without the latest Armani dress. We can be happy just seeing a film with friends. But this is the trend now, to worry about our appearance.

#3 - Does the Armani brand suffer a lot of damage because of counterfeit products? David Remenyik, BUDAPEST

Personally, I think counterfeit products are good because their existence shows that we create something people want to copy. Professionally, it causes big problems because it creates products with your name on them that are not controlled by you.

#4 - What is the worst fashion statement you have seen to date? Sarosh Shaheen, OTTAWA

The most negative trend is that we designers forget that a dress or suit is not necessarily going to be worn by a professional model who is 6 ft. [183 cm] tall. We often forget that fashion should be designed for real people who live real lives.

#5 - What new green fabrics or products are inspiring your fashion? Marilou Petlowany KYLE, TEXAS

I did an ecological collection a few years ago. Some ecological fabrics don't do much for the woman or man who wears them. But we have to think of the world we live in, so we have to think about using these fabrics more.

#6 - How would you have dressed First Lady Michelle Obama for the Inauguration? Madea Metcalf NEW YORK CITY

It's important that she doesn't overdress because she has a very strong presence. She should make herself seen, of course, but hide herself a little too.

#7 - What do you still wish to accomplish in your lifetime? Elizabeth Chapman PRINCETON, N.J.

Get back my personal freedom! I have done so many things in my work to satisfy the public. This kind of commitment means I have lost my private life. Would I like to make a film someday, or travel more or write a book? Sure. But my work in fashion has kept me from doing these things. That is my only regret.

#8 - Are you planning on appointing an heir to take over your responsibilities upon retirement? Luca Zanzi, ALLSTON, MASS.

I don't think so. I am going to continue to teach the people who work for me as a team. That's how we work now; someone creates the jackets, someone else creates the jewelry. It should be the house and the brand that matters.

#9 - What advice would you give to aspiring young designers in the current economic climate? Ahmad Aboushagor BATH, ENGLAND

If you want to be known as a designer in your own right, do something to make a mark, then work every day at it and create your style. In this economy it is very difficult though.

#10 - You recently accused Dolce & Gabbana of copying one of your designs. Do you plan to pursue this claim in court? Alice Goodman, SYDNEY

No. This happened at the end of a small press conference. One of my colleagues brought me a photo of this pair of pants. I said, very nonchalantly, "Look--great designers like Dolce & Gabbana copy us!" I was joking, it was not serious, but naturally the press picked up on it and splashed it all over the headlines.

ISLA FISHER SIZZLES ON FEBRUARY COVER OF ALLURE

masl21_Isla.jpg
Confessions Of A Shopaholic star Isla Fisher covers the February 2009 issue of Allure. The 32-year-old Aussie comedienne and soon to be wife of Sacha Baron Cohen, shines in the February issue of Allure magazine in a photo shoot snapped by famed photog Norman Jean Roy in Beverly Hills. In the issue, Fisher reveals everything from why she’s so secretive about “Borat” and baby Olive, her wild rise to fame which included a stint at French clown school, her upcoming nuptials, and her famous red locks. Allure editors said “One might expect a clown-school grad who cracks up Borat and improvs with Vince Vaughn to be side-splittingly funny—and in Isla Fisher's case, you'd be absolutely right.”

Here are a few highlights:
On being with British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen for seven years: “We are going to get married really, really, even more so now than ever. We have been talking about it, and we have been very close, but it has been difficult to plan. It is very important to me to have a beautiful ritual celebrated with all my family and friends, and to feel part of a community. And when you are in the public eye, to keep that private and to make it happen without it being really visible is really difficult.”

On being compared to other redheads: 'If Shopaholic is a hit, then it was Isla Fisher in the movie, and if it doesn't work out, it was Amy Adams.'

On her shopping habits: I'm a terrible shopper. I shop badly and hardly ever. I get in, I get out, with no pleasure."

On her family being nomadic growing up: “I attribute my ability to tap into my inner idiot to having to be such a gypsy and to adapt to new environments and new people at school. You can make friends quickly if you’re willing to take the piss out of yourself.”

On converting from Methodism to Judaism: “I converted as of two years ago. It is always reported that I am still studying, so I am either the slowest studier in the world, or I have, in fact, converted.”

Ms. Fisher also has a new project coming up with former SNL fave Amy Poehler.

To find out what happened behind-the-scenes at the cover shoot, visit Allure.com. The issue hits Stands January 20th and Confessions of a Shopaholic opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, February 13.
