A|X RECOMMENDS - LADYHAWKE “MY DELIRIUM” - VIDEO

We can’t get enough of LadyHawke. Her latest single “My Delirium'” is a retro sound round-up of the 80s with it’s thumping pop swirl, big reverby drums, bubbling synths, and arena sized chorus influences.

And now there's a video that bring it into vision with animated watercolour/desert drive mash-up, reminiscent of a-ha's 1985 hot “Take On Me”. The video features billowing supernovas, paintings and escapism illustrations by Sarah Larnach. Directed by Frater [Benjie Davies and Jim Field].

New Zealander Ladyhawke, aka Pip Brown, grew up in a very musical family and is heavily influenced by the stars of her 80’s childhood. She adores Stevie Nicks, Deep Purple and David Bowie, but adds her modern twist to retro edge beats.

Ladyhawke has a busy year of touring the globe ahead, but has found her place in pop consciousness.

Check out the video to “My Delirium”.
