
Brad Pitt was in his newly adopted hometown of New Orleans over the weekend to unveil the latest phase of his eco-friendly architectural-housing plan. Pitt is on a mission to make things right and build green affordable housing on a large scale to help victims of Hurricane Katrina-wrecked Lower Ninth Ward.
The 43-year-old actor Pitt set up a foundation, specifically targeted at New Orleans and called “Make It Right” focusing on rebuilding the Ninth Ward, one of the most devastated areas of New Orleans, and provide stronger and healthier safe homes that had less impact on the environment would be a catalyst for recovery and redevelopment throughout this area and across the city of New Orleans.
