Gwyneth Paltrow (35) was spotted in NYC on Wednesday filming scene for her upcoming movie Two Lovers, with Joaquin Phoenix (33).
With Gwyneth is NYC the absence of husband Coldplay lead Chris Martin by her side is stirring the rumor mill with a troubled relationship. Reports are stating that the couple has not been together for months while Gwyneth Paltrow was in Spain filming a cooking show with Mario Batali in Spain.
However, publicist Steven Huvane spoke to the press stating the rumors of a split “are absolutely not true. They have been completely together and barely separated. Chris was with her in Los Angeles during the shooting of ‘Iron Man,’ and then with her in the Hamptons during the summer, and in London for September and October. She’s been in New York for the past week, but he is joining him soon in a few days. This stems from the fact that both Chris and Gwyneth make a deliberate effort not to be photographed together. She does not take him to any events where there will be press - or if she does, they enter separately. It is their policy not to put their relationship out there for public consumption.”
As reported earlier this month on Styletraxx, Two Lovers is a Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Phoenix) that is torn between the girl his family and friends wish he would marry and the beautiful but volatile girl next store (Paltrow).
The film is set to open in 2009.
