It is being reported that Lindsay Lohan (21) has checked out of Utah treatment facility Cirque Lodge on Friday. According to People Magazine, Mama Lohan Dina, issued a statement to People Magazine: “I’m proud of her. She’s moving ahead with her life. Things were getting out of control. She took action. She took responsibility. She really needed to heal.”
Papa Lohan Michael also told People: “Now that she is going out into the world, I can only hope for the best.”
Lindsay did release a statement to the press after her DUI charges; telling MTV News: “It is clear to me that my life has become completely unmanageable because I am addicted to alcohol and drugs. Recently, I relapsed and did things for which I am ashamed. I broke the law, and today I took responsibility by pleading guilty to charges in my case.”
As part of her plea deal to the misdemeanor of DUI and drug charges LL was ordered to spend on day in jail, serve 10 days of community service and complete a drug-treatment program. Lohan will remain on probation for 36 months and must complete an 18-month alcohol education-program, pay tons in fines /penalties, and complete a three-day county coroner-program.
Rumor has it that LL is planning to return to acting soon and will start filming the tango movie “Dare to Love Me” in Los Angeles on October 15.
