Vanessa, 18, stayed quite about her relationship with on-screen/off-screen sweetheart Zac Efron but one thing she couldn’t avoid were the smash ratings High School Musical 2! was taking in. HSM2 pulled in a record 17.2 million viewers tuning into the premiere of the sequel to the hit 2006 film.
Disney is taking advantage of its captive audience and building upon the success of HSM2. Things rumored to be in the works are spin-offs, concerts, records, and possible Broadway show.
