Despite canceling their weekend wedding at the last minute, Usher and fiancée Tameka Foster, are still getting married, the singer tells US Weekly.
Usher told US Weekly: “As of right now we don’t have a date but we will let you know when we do,” he says.
Reports are swirling that the wedding was cancelled due to a pregnancy scare, and not a rift with Usher’s mother or any other reason.
On Friday (the day before the set wedding date), Tameka who is four-months pregnant was admitted to St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York City after suffering cramping. But upon examination, “she learned it was just uneasiness brought on by the stress of the wedding.”
At that point, the singer decided to postpone the ceremony.
“Everybody’s fine. Tameka and the baby are fine,” Usher tells the mag and Tameka added: “We’re good. We’re all doing great now.”
