The concert that will change the world - organized by Al Gore, with hopes of creating greater awareness for global warming and environmental causes.
Of the Live Earth concept, Al Gore states: "By attracting an audience of billions we hope Live Earth will launch a global campaign giving a critical mass of people around the world the tools they need to help solve the climate crisis. But ultimately, corporations and governments must become global leaders taking decisive action to stop global warming."
The concert takes place at Wembley Arena in London on July 7th and the line-up is made up of some of today’s hottest acts:
Beastie Boys, Black Eyed Peas, Bloc Party, Corinne Bailey Rae, Damien Rice, David Gray, Duran Duran, Foo Fighters, the Genesis, James Blunt, John Legend, Keane, Madonna, Paolo Nutini, Razorlight, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Snow Patrol
Other country (China, Australia, Japan, Brazil, USA)are organizing their own LIVE EARTH concert and proceeds will help create local foundations to combat climate change led by The Alliance for Climate Protection, currently chaired by Gore.
